Just wikipedia'd it and you're correct bully. 2000 with Bolton where he won promotion with a win over PNE.

I'm surprised Sunderland didn't pick up Big Sam. Their loss I guess.

You're kidding right? Sammy b4st4rd is just the man to lead brfc into the CCC. The best I could have hoped for, excepting Souness of course.

PS. I told you so ;)

not sure i think he will do ok seen as what he did at bolton. right time for him to be there as transfer window not far off

maybe just wishful thinking there on my part Bully.

He did nothing at Toon though. and I can't recall him doing anyhthing anywhere else before Bolton. sometimes it's just one of those things, whefre a manager just fits right at one club.

I think the only way b4st4rds are going to have anything to spend in the January Sales is if they move on Santa Cruz. They could get maybe £10m for him, I hink the £15m price tag is a bit high.

and even if they do get between £10m and £15m, who are they going to get. The whole team is shite so spending £6m plus on one or two players won't necessarily change anything.

Spurs will pay 15m for him! We paid 16m for Bent 16m for Bentley, 14m for Pavlyuchenko....

ahhh the old usual manager goes and the following game the team gets a result and looks like a million dollars. So Big sam will win a few games and they will all think hes bees knees of managers then a few results will go against him and it will be back to square one.

still have my bet on for harry to last 4 months at spurs before hes given the arse

I'll propose a new bet. Wenger will leave Ar5ena1 before 'Arry leaves Spurs.
The gooners are turning on Arsene and there's nothing sweeter to watch.

I can see United taking out a third consecutive Premier League title. They are 7 points behind but i dont think their 2 games in hand are all that difficult. Plus by my reckoning they have so far played Chelski, L'pool, Arsenal & Villa all away.

Liverpool depend on 2 players and i think have blown there chance of establishing a lead at the top. Chelski appear to be too busy arguing with each other and Villa & Arsenal will be too busy worrying about 4th.

We did win... and became World Champions in the process.

United are in a decent position now but they need to go on a winning run after Christmas to close that gap and really put the pressure on.

But not Wigan. What form!

Three wins on the trot since last month's loss to Arsenal.

Bring on the Spurs.
