Could be a few outs this week lads, Vermaelen with a possible broken leg and Eduardo torn hammy, big outs with United, Chelsea and then Liverpool coming up in consecutive matches.

Sol vs Rooooooney should be interesting!

Wenger came out this morning ( ;) ) and said Diaby is unavailable.

Vermaelen does not have a broken leg, but is still in doubt for the weekend.

Amazing recovery if true. Although if it's not a break, it would only be bruising?

Vermaelen has been a brilliant signing this year.

Big game this weekend. Happened to fall asleep on the lounge before and was watching Setanta at the time, when i woke up Man Utd TV was on, i watched fergies press conference and he looked a little nervous about this weekends game. Also the following part of MUTV which was called count down to kick off, with a HOT chicky babe hosting it i might add. All the interviews with man yoo officals etc saying its the biggest game of the season. Which it is so should be a great game, pity its on so late/early monday morning. Will have to tape it and get up and watch it just before work.

I'd opt for the Pool v Spuds game if I were you BD. You can cheer on the reds and the alternative is watching boring b4st4rds at Villa

  Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I bet you wish you could take that post back mate!

Spot on  I had that game on and turned it off when b4st4rds went 2 - 0 up.

devilsadvocate wrote:I recall Arsenal fans bitching endlessly about Spurs not kicking the ball out of play and going on to score a goal as one of their players laid down and faked an injury a couple of years back. (Didn't help much though as we still lost  )

Now Gallas chops down Devies of Bolton, seriously injuring him, but the Gooners play on and score. Hypocritical or what!!

Arsenal defender William Gallas will not face retrospective disciplinary action from the Football Association over his challenge on Bolton's Mark Davies.

The Frenchman went in late on Davies, catching the midfielder on the ankle. The challenge went unpunished by referee Alan Wiley and to rub salt into the wounds the Gunners, instead of kicking the ball out of play, went on to equalise.

Trotters manager Owen Coyle was angered by the incident, which left Davies to be stretchered off, and called the challenge an 'assault'.

Bolton team-mate Paul Robinson labeled the tackle 'disgusting' but no separate disciplinary proceedings can take place as the FA do not 're-official' matches.

perfectly fair challenge imo, and play on. Coyle is a whinging shite.

thats my point. Before roman yes chelsea won cups, but very rarely. We didnt win everything but we won something and im just trying to prove as good as they are without romans money they may be struggling in debt and struggling at the bottom of the table. Wether or not ilduce likes that or not.

Back on the thread topic.

Im so nervous about tomorrow mornings game against man yoo

You and me both... with Chelsea's win we both need 3 points.. the loser of the match will find it very difficult to win the title I feel.

I smell a draw though.

Whoever loses will only be 4 or 5 points down. Granted Chelsea will have a game in hand but still, there's a long way to go. The big factor now in the season will be injuries and squad depth once the UCL starts up again. Points will be dropped during March, it is just a matter of who drops the least.

and i suppose you will win every title this year also?

on this morning performance. we played well, yet lost again. For some reason when we play them we play good but still loose the game.

Arshavin tends to be a hog sometimes, time and time again nasri was free and clear in the box yet arshavin had a shot. we could have been 2-0 up before 30mins if arshavin had have passed the ball. I think we tried to play our passing game against man utd and also chelsea and look what happens.

Or its when i dont watch the game live Arsenal loose the match, but when i watch it live we win. Gets hard some monday mornings when we have the late game and i have to get up for work 2 hours later. From now on i will watch the game live like the chelsea game this monday morning and we should win ;)
