Liverpool have accepted an offer from Hoffenheim for Ryan Babel.
This is more than likely to fund the capture of Uruguay international Suarez from Ajax.

Bit suprised about babel. As a united fan i though he was a real talent, never seemed to get much of a go.
Oh well suarez can score a few goals with his hands for you guys :D

Dont care how he scores them lol, just get them in the net son!!!

Babel has been with us for about 4 years and is still playing on potential .. Im not sure he would have been our first selection to go, but I'd suggest he wanted regular starting time and might have been one of the few to provide the right price to get the Suarez deal done?

Unfortunately Babel was one of many strikers we have purchased that always seemed to play as winger.

With todays reluctance for teams to play 2 up front (even Rooney played a fair bit of last season on the left wing) he was never going to displace Torres but I thought he was better option than Eggnog.

I sort of pinned my hopes that he was going to learn his craft on the wing and become a prolific striker like Henry but never got an extended run.
I'd much rather we stop filling the wings with strikers and buy out and out wingers with width and pace.

There was also a chance babel would go to AJAX in part exchange for Suarez and that could still happen as I think that's his preference but Hoffenheim have moved quick to put an offer in.

MAXI would want to harden up quick smart if he wants to stay in the team.
Soft divers are tolerated by Ferguson, not Dalglish. ;)

Not just divers, but a team of soft cocks who won't put their bodies on the line like a committed and desperate opponent like Wolves do

1-0 up after 45 mins + 2 extra.
The 14 year old female linesman copped it by the crowd for offside but she made the right call as Kubar played Torres onside.

Blatter wants to move the wc to JAN to "expand" the game at the expense of the European leagues.

Well Mr Blatter, I am sat in a lounge in an airport in Shanghai and they are showing live EPL football.

How is "soccer" in Qatar going to expand the game again?
