Birmingham 0-1 Chelsea
Blackburn 1-1 Middlesbrough
Fulham 0-3 Arsenal
Tottenham 2-0 Sunderland
Portsmouth 3-1 Derby County
Reading 0-2 Man Utd
Newcastle 0-0 Bolton

Robbie Keane scored his 100th goal fur Spurs today. Brilliant effort! There's only one Keano!!!

With all the talk of Torres, Berbatov, Drogba etc, I'm pretty chuffed to have Keano in a Spurs shirt. His goals per minutes played ratio is outstanding. He's Yido through and through.

Benjani was also impressive today, sending 3 past Derby.

Tuncay missed possibly the easiest goal of all time which would have sent Boro 2-0 up against Rovers, but Blackburn equalised late on.

Arsenal 1 drew Spurs 1

Spurs had ALL the play and led for around 45 mins, 5-6 great chances but only converted on 1. Arsenal has 2 realistic chances and gets lucky on the second. Spurs were clearly better all over the park and Ledley King is B.A.C.K. - great performance.
As with the fixture last night, great game to watch, brilliant skills on show and there's everything still to play for in the second leg at WHL in a fortnight. Hopefully I'm there!

not sure about having all the play there champ, but if you did and only managed a DRAW against us then might be looking at yourselfs a bit on this one

Huh? What game did you watch. Or like the other 7000 no shows at Degenerates, were you too busy eating prawn sandwiches?
I'm not hiding the fact that Spurs missed their chances, Defoe and Malbranque both should have scored.
We'll see what happens on the 23rd.

yes i watched the game, like i said you didnt have all the play, most of but not all. A goal is a Goal no matter how it goes in, some might say walcott was lucky when he scored, other might say your keeper didnt do his job etc.yes should be a good game at the out house on the 23rd

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!

Spurs 5 - Arsenal 1

Spurs are on their way to Wembley,
Tottenhams gonna do it again,
They can stop 'em,
The boys from Tottenham,
The boys from White Hart Lane!

Absolute cracker of a game and even better result! The first half was brilliant football - free flowing, good skills and excellent finishing in front of goal. Berbatov shanked one in the first and in the second, Defoe missed an absolute sitter, while Adebyor scored a rip snorter. And it's soooo good to see that smug Frenchy wrinkle bag have to eat humble pie for a change!

Tomorrow nights game between Everton and Chelski should be a cracker too and if it's half as good as their first leg meeting, it will be unmissable. I think Chelski will get up despite being a little undermanned.

Been a great player Robbie Keane and one I've really enjoyed watching over the years ... Don't think he's in the class of Torres or Drogba though, however he has the runs on the board in terms of longevity ... One Christiano Ronaldo however would wipe anyone else from discussion.

Oh and btw, I would have thought Robbie was an Irishman through and through?

I like Keano, he's in my EPL fantasy league which I am currently sitting on top with 8)

Then again Keono & Adebayor up front, with Ronaldo, Petrov, Fabregas & Bentley make a good midfield.
But Ferdinand, Lescott, Laursen & Clichy make for a good backline too !! Ohh scrubber James in goal but...

Yeah, couldn't resist. It's been a loooooong time.

68th minute - Everton 0 v Chelski 0, so Chelski going through at this stage.

EDIT 69th minute - Everton 0 v Chelski 1 (Joe Cole)

So, it will be Spurs v Chelski at Wem-ber-leeeey

Liverpool had to come from behind twice to beat their non-league opposition.

Mate, what's going on at Ramland? No wins since Paul Jewel took over.
It's become a crisis of confidence of epic proportions.
Poor bastards, June can't come quick enough for Derby.

Not looking good for Spurs now. 2-1 down with Dawson off for a deliberate handball to deny Shrek leading to a penalty which was easily converted by Ronaldo.

Jewell appointed Stan Ternent as his number two. Bad decision. Was manager at Burnley for 3 or 4 seasons. Did ok and is a battler. Saved the Clarets from the drop, but no EPL experience. A different ball game.

1/2 time Sheff Utd 2 - 0 Man City.

Another EPL to fall ???

!st goal was comedy. Ball crossed through a rake of balloons in the 6 yrds box. City defender got confused and lost sight of what was the ball and what was a balloon, simple tap in for Sheff U, very funny. Keeper went and burst all the balloons in temper. Ironic though as they were all City balloons.

That was comedy. What a monumental backfire!

I loved the 4th official's explaination too.......City keeper Joe Hart was asked to burst the balloons while the play was at the other end, but didn't (not that he should have had too!!!) and in the end they resulted in a goal.

Note to city fans.....only pour balloons onto the goalmouth when your side is ATTACKING, NOT DEFENDING!

Final result Sheff U 2 - Man City 1. Another EPL scalp.

Man Utd 2 - 0 Pompey
Manchester United went back to the top of the table, Chelsea keep up the pursuit, but Liverpool slumped to a late defeat. Another Cristiano Ronaldo double sent United back to the summit with a 2-0 triumph over Portsmouth.
United enjoyed a dream start at Old Trafford and were 2-0 up inside the opening 13 minutes against a shell-shocked Portsmouth. Ronaldo opened the scoring on 10 minutes, sliding the ball inside David James' near post after a slick move involving Paul Scholes and Nani.
Just three minutes later, the irrepressible Ronaldo scored again, thumping a dipping free-kick beyond the flat-footed James.
Chelski 1 - 0 Reading
Michael Ballack's first-half goal ensured Chelsea keep pace with the top two after a 1-0 win over Reading at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea were ahead after 32 minutes when Paulo Ferreira dug out a fine cross on the right for Ballack to powerfully head home.
West Ham 1 - 0 Liverpool
An injury-time penalty from Mark Noble boosted West Ham's European hopes with a 1-0 victory at home to Liverpool. Noble placed his spot-kick low into the corner of the net after Jamie Carragher had tripped Freddie Ljungberg deep into stoppage-time.
Everton 0 - 0 Spurs
Andy Johnson missed the best chance of the game as UEFA Champions League hopefuls Everton drew 0-0 with Spurs at Goodison Park.
Derby 1 - 1 Man City
Derby are still waiting for a second Premier League win of the season after a 1-1 draw with Man City at Pride Park.
After missing a hatful of chances in the first half, City fell behind two minutes into the second period when Kenny Miller's wayward shot took a heavy deflection off Sun Jihai to wrong-foot keeper Joe Hart. City were level on 63 minutes when Daniel Sturridge marked his first start for the club by steering Martin Petrov's cross inside the post.

Watched the Tottenham v Man U game tonight, now I remember why I love footy more than soccer.
If it was a footy game Tottenham would have won by 5 goals and deservedly so.
Because its a stupid soccer bloody game it was a 1 all draw.
Stupid stupid game.

It'll show on the scorecards at a 93rd minute equaliser to Man U but I can't work that one out since the first half went for 48.5 mins, it was actually a 97 min equaliser.

Poofs game.

Im going to watch the Grand Finalf between Leeds and St Helens in the Rugby League for the 50th time on my IQ now to remind me of how a real game pans out.

ANGRY!!!!!!
