FWIW I reckon Forest and Reading will get the job done and meet each other at Wembley.

Having seen every team play this year I can say this is the weakest CCC yet.

I think its probably because there are none of the usual big guns in the division. Newcastle and WBA were promoted last year and Sunderland, Birmingham and Wolves all managed to retain their EPL status.

The three sides relegated, Burnley, Hull and Pompey are hardly considered " powerhouses". Both Pompey and Hull were in financial strife and Burnley just lacked ambition.

No disrespect to any club who have made it into the top six but for QPR to finish as champions and Norwich to make successive promotions shows the lack of depth in the division.

Probably agree there JTC.
Unless the promoted sides make a huge ammount of signings cant see any of them making a huge impact on EPL.
The CC should be interesting next season especially if the hammers drop down. Wolves are usually a force and Blackpool or Wigan will add depth.
Of the sides coming up, i really like the look of Brighton, they play attractive football and i believe they will have a new stadium ready so they could suprise a few, I wouldnt be surprised to see southampton in the mix either

Swansea should get the job done against Forest. Their home record is outstanding.
Anybody's game in the Cardiff v Reading clash. I want Reading to get through. Cardiff aren't in the best form, but with Bellamy, Boothroyd, Chopra etc, they are a good team capable of getting promoted.

Another good win for Leeds against QPR, after going behind in the first 25 seconds of the match
Only team to do the double over the champions this season.
Hopefully Leeds can build their squad and keep most of their first team together to push for promotion next season.

It was great to see Patrick Kisnorbo back after 14 months out with an Achillies injury. Although he didn't look 100%, it was good to see him back out there.
Hopefully Kisnorbo, Bradley Johnson and Neil Kilkenny are all given new contracts.

Forest's record at home is as good as Swanseas.
Forest have regained form and have most players available.
Get on them!

0-0 at half time.
Swansea have played with 10 men since 2nd minute after Neil Taylor gets a straight red for going in high with studs. Looked a little harsh but on replays it was a very ordinary tackle and probably deserved red.

Good result for Swansea after losing a man so early.

Reading vs Cardiff tomorrow morning, I'll take a draw.

I thought the Red was a little harsh to be honest. Although i've only seen one angle of the incident.
Pretty good effort to get a 1-1 draw against 10 men, although by the sounds of it Swansea 'parked the bus'

Disappointing for Forest not to get any goals after Swansea was a man down.
Hopefully they can net a few in the 2nd leg on Monday.

Swansea up 2-0 at half time after a pair of cracking goals, hard to see Forest getting back into it from here.

Forest were poor first half, totally dominated by swansea althought the ref didnt give them a clear penalty
