I'm very surprised at how generous everyone is being towards Citeh - including almost all sections of the media.

They've bought 1 good player and SWP who is decent, but it's still the same old Shitteh who were woeful after Nov last term.

Will take a LOT of new players to be worthy of a 1-1 with the Chavs IMO.

Outside the top four, they have the best defence, maybe Portsmouth's is better. They bought Shaun Wright-Phillips, who dominated for them before he went to Chelsea. They have Robinho, Elano, Petrov, Jo, Kompany, Richards, Dunne etc Who are good players. They only really need a good goalkeeper and a couple of other positions that could be made better. The only thing is that they dont have the depth of quality players compared with the top 4

Sorry, the defence that poured in 8 goals against MIDDLESBROUGH last year? The defence that poured in 6 against Chavski last year? and Also 3 on the weekend? I'd go as far as saying Spurs have a FAR better defence than Citeh: Alan Hutton, Jon Woodgate, Ledley King, Gareth Bale with backups Chris Gunter, Michael Dawson, Vedran Corluka, Gilberto. ALL of whom (with the exception of Dawson who's tripe) are internationals for their respective countries.

The only player you mention worthy of top 4 is Robinho and maybe Richards if he plays like he did at the start of last term.
