Anton is certainly a long way off his older bro.
He's got a heck of a lot of catching up before I'd call him impressive.
I guess for the Mackems though, he's handy enough.

Good to see a Fulham fan on board, although I've never heard them called the 'whites'. Maybe cottagers, badgers ....

Although after beating Arsenal I'm happy to call them champions of the universe. It was beautiful to watch.

really - one of their main chants - come on you whites... was at the cottage on saturday and it was a ripper - the arsenal fans were extremely quiet!!!! haha...
The polite old man I was sitting next to turn to me after fulham had won and said - "well f@*k me i dont see that too often" was priceless!

Well - knock me down with a feather - while interviewing Arsene Wenger tonight on the Beeb, they rubbed it in about getting beaten by Fulham and during a highlight there's a fan in the background holding up a sign saying 'COME ON YOU WHITES'.

Why couldn't I have seen this yesterday before making a dick of myself? :D

You're the only one comparing him to his brother

I reckon he's already a decent player and has the ability to be even better, time will tell I guess.

They are the signs/clappers that all home fans get on their seats at the cottage - they make it a little louder than the traditional cottage crowds :)

Good point!

If he can have some quality guidance, he's still got improvement in him given his age.

Shaun Wright-Phillips has rejoined Manchester City on a four-year deal from Chelsea.
The winger moved to Stamford Bridge in 2005 after emerging as one of the brightest young players in the country with City.
He had a difficult time at Chelsea and was rarely able to find his best form.
Wright-Phillips fell down the pecking order towards the end of last season and Luiz Felipe Scolari has now agreed to let him go.
The 26-year-old has completed a medical and finalised his transfer after an undisclosed fee was reached between the clubs.
Delighted
"Obviously I'm delighted to come back to City and I just can't wait to start again," Wright-Phillips told Man City's official website. Manager Mark Hughes also expressed his delight at clinching the deal and backed Wright-Phillips to flourish again at City. "I've always admired him and he's certainly been a target of mine since I came to the football club," said the manager. "To actually secure the deal and bring Shaun back home is a fantastic coup for us and I'm sure the supporters will be just as excited as we are to have him back at Manchester City."

Blackburn have completed the signing of Keith Andrews from Milton Keynes Dons. The 27-year-old has inked a three-year deal at Ewood Park after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
Andrews has been a target of Rovers boss Paul Ince all summer with the pair having enjoyed success together at MK Dons.
The Irishman is expected to go straight into the squad for this weekend's game with West Ham and Andrews is relishing the chance of playing in the top flight.

Everton have completed the signing of Ecuador midfielder Segundo Castillo.

Castillo has agreed a season-long loan deal at Goodison Park from Red Star Belgrade. The 26-year-old passed a medical at Everton on Thursday and he has received a work permit.
Castillo had a trial at Blackburn earlier this summer and he is believed to have impressed at Ewood Park, but the deal fell through after both parties could not agree a deal.

Everton boss David Moyes has moved in to lure Castillo to Merseyside as he looks to bolster his midfield options following the departure of Lee Carsley.
Castillo is Everton's second signing of the summer following the recent capture of defender Lars Jacobsen.

being an arsenal fan i hated us loosing last weekend to fulham, but all teams have there off days and there on days as you call it. look at man united on the opening day, would have thought they were a shoe in against newcastle but struggled to get a draw against them at home. tottenham havent won yet this season and very interesting to see them loose to sunderland at home, i was happy to see that :D . but again it could be down to an off day or just not good enough. i watched the fulham vs arsenal game and being an arsenal fan i agree with most, we just werent good enough on the day. but there are 36 rounds to go so plenty of time to catch up
and im not really liking arsene's policy of young players at the moment myself but im just a fan and cant change it . see what happens .......

Great pick up for the cats. Ferdinand can develop under Keane, far better than down at the Hammers imo

Burnley have secured the capture of defender Russell Anderson from Sunderland on a season-long loan.

The Scotland international has struggled for first-team football at the Stadium of Light since signing from Aberdeen 12 months ago and will now embark on his second spell in the Championship, after spending time at Plymouth Argyle last term.

Don't know too much about him though ?

Just seen this from Sky Sports News earlier today:

http://videos.spurstube.co.uk/video/Bentley-on-SSN

Dave Bentley is a bloody classic.

A Yid on a Spurs forum says he had corporate hospitality for the Sunderland game last weekend, which involved a tour of the changerooms. They were given a video presentation showing how the players prepare for a match. When Bentley saw the camera and that he was being filmed, he want up, grabbed it and giave it the big 'HELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO' and started waving and acting like a child   . What a champion. It's good to see players run amoc a little bit.

Can't criticism him for the performace last week either, as he was the only Spurs player to worthy of holding his head up when he pleft the pitch.

BTW, an interesting situation arises today. If Hull beat Wigan at the KC, which is by no means unrealistic given their start, they could go top of the EPL as both Liverpool and Chavzki are playing tomorrow. If Blackburn and Newcastle both fail to take full points, Hull will lead the pack for at least 20 hours :D

Sadly IMHO Sandra is slipping a little bit these days DA.

How much longer can Hull hang on for? Could they hang on to stay up for next season?

Fair go ... Unlike Hull, SS has the runs on the board. She might well have slipped with age but we can't all be Dean Windass
