If it happens, it will be the first time in 9 years that we've beaten the scum in the league.

Yeah go Spurs. Would be good to see Aston Villa climb into the top 4. Makes a bit of a change compared to Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal being the top 4 for as long as i can remember. Everton did get 4th the other year though didnt they?

Spot on, Here's the table for that season.

Final Table P Pt
1 Chelsea 38 95
2 Arsenal 38 83
--------------------------
3 Manchester United 38 77
4 Everton 38 61
--------------------------
5 Liverpool 38 58
6 Bolton Wanderers 38 58
7 Middlesbrough 38 55
8 Manchester City 38 52
9 Tottenham Hotspur 38 52
10 Aston Villa 38 47
11 Charlton Athletic 38 46
12 Birmingham City 38 45
13 Fulham 38 44
14 Newcastle United 38 44
15 B4st4rdburn Rovers 38 42
16 Portsmouth 38 39
17 West Bromwich Albion 38 34
------------------------------
18 Crystal Palace 38 33
19 Norwich City 38 33
20 Southampton 38 32

Blimey, it was a quality league that year  Chavski by 12 points, Arsenal 6 points to Man U and United a whopping 16 points to 4th placed Everton.
1st Chavski to 4th Toffees, 34points

but look at the site in there, Palace, Norwich, Soton, Brum, Addicks then there is Bolton and Boro in 6th & 7th. F$%k me, I had forgotten what a crap year that was.

soton and Addicks both destined for the third tier.

Yoyo team WBA set for another relegation to CCC with fellow yoyoers Brum, in with a shout to go back up.........again.....

Spurs and City the perenial non achievers.

yeah that was the year that liverpool won the champions league the season before and they debated wether the team that wins it if they dont make the top 4 should be able to defend it.

what is happening with the Arshavin deal??? heard it was done.. then nearly done... then 90%... surely everything must be done for his sig!!!!!!

Also i dont get why VP starts on the bench and that moron Bendter starts and turns the ball over everytime his unco feet get near the pill....

Very frustrating the Gooners at the moment

And on the Arse-man deal, it's about 99% done, but mega complicated simply because there are Ruskies involved. They do a deal, then go away, think about it and change their minds. Arshavin was virtually a Spurs player in Summer, both parties agreed a fee, AA had agreed personal terms, he came and passed a medical, then those shifty Ruskies demanded more coin. Daniel Levy said we'll pay 22.99m, Zenit wanted 23.01m, so the deal fell through.

Obviously that's absurd, but apparently it wasn't far off being that petty in reality.

I suspect the same applies to the current deal.

because arsene loves bendtner and wants him and adebayor to gel more then RVP and adebayor.

in my view and 99% of the football world believe RVP and Adebayor gel better but Arsene believes different.
