FWIW, I reckon Torres if he stays healthy, will absolutely blitz at Chelsea.

In his first 2 seasons with us he was lethal in both the premiership and champions league, and scored against all comers including some of the best teams in the world.

He clearly played his best football when he had the stimulation of motivation that joining a new club brings, and also when he had a decent strike partner (which was effectively Gerrard in those years).

He will have all of that and more at Chelsea .. Liverpool even in their more competitive recent years haven't played with the same style or talented players as Chelsea have, and Torres should really benefit from being played in behind opposition defences more often.

I have braced myself for a scoring spree from the Spanish (now) pretty boy ( )

hearing rumours about torres was signed by the russian billionare and not anchelotti meaning torres was not in anchelottis plans for the future??

Also i can see a mass exidus from chelsea coming up this summer. For one im sure anelka wont like the fact he was going to be traded to liverpool for the torres transfer. Drogba does not look interested anymore and looks to be second choice to torres which he wont like one bit. Cashley cole will look to move on for more money as he usually does he may end up at Man utd ;), but would fergie have such a twat as cashley cole? I think lampard and terry have seen their better days.

Love all this infighting at the Chavs. They are rabble and full of a bunch of overpaid sooks. I do feel sorry for ancelotti he is a great manager and a decent bloke and abromovich just keeps shafting him. United cop alot of stick but at least our owner doesnt interfere with the running of the club, abramovich basically picks the team each week and overules ancelottis plans. Owners should stay out of the onfield decisions.
And NO we dont want that wanker Cole at united

Not sure if thats because of the owners, or the fact that they could never win if they went head to head with such a giant as Sir Alex .. Benitez did the right thing by sticking it to the owners at Liverpool, but it didn't end up doing him any favours.

WTF is Ashley Cole thinking? Playing around with an airgun at training and shoots a kid accidently. The guy is an absolute knob

Chelsea tried to cover it up as well, scumbags. Hopefully Cashley gets punished as the guy thinks he can do what he wants and get away with it.

Terry hasn't been practising heading with Cheryl by any chance ;)

Why doesnt Anchelotti start with Drogba and Anelka ?? Chelsea seem to play much better when those two start. Torres is way off par at the moment looks lost and not interested.

I can see Torres being sold sooner rather then later. SOme players are great but some great players just dont fit into teams and this is proving the point

Im not sure that Roman could take that hit to his ego, given he'd wanted and pursued Torres for so long (remember Schevchenko) .. Would be mega surprised if he on sold him any time soon

Still its the russian that wanted toress not Anchelotti i heard. So as long as Anchelotti is there i can see torres struggling and not getting full matches. But like previous managers at Chelsea Anchelotti will be long gone soon if things dont start picking up at Stamford Bridge and then the russian will have is way

Im hearing the special one wont last the season at madrid with all their infighting and abramovich has buried the hatchet and would welcome him back. Mourinho was at the bridge watching them the other week and he still sends weekly texts to senior players like terry and lampard telling them to ride this tough period out. Ancelotti will be back at milan next year

Mourinho just needs to be patient, once Fergie retires he will then be free to manage United. You know he wants to.

Still when fergie retires its just a matter of time to see if Mourhinos game play and tactics suit Man Utd and there players if he goes there. Good managers can be good but like Hodgson he may not gel there and last 5 months. Who knows.
