Eagles ran the show and is on fire. Can see us under pressure to keep him come January if his form continues.

mmmm i think Eagles may have proven he is not quite up to EPL standard but is very very good at Championship level.

Fair comment too. I think he is better this year but falls into that category of too good for the ccc but not good enough for the epl. He is just too light weight to make an impact in the premiership.
When he is good, he is very good though and last night he was very good

Yeah i also the think the quality wide players in the EPL take advantage of Eagles lack of defensive side to his game.

Though in saying all that i would still have him starting at the hammers.

That's part of his game that has improved this season. He is chasing back and winning the ball in his own defensive half.

The frequency in which he changes wings throughout the game makes him difficult to mark as well.

We just need to sort out the back four. Bikey has been very good this year but he hasn't had a regular solid partner and we are very week on the left. Fox was dropped for Tuesdays game and Easton did a decent job in his place. Hence the clean sheet

On the news, the administrators are saying it is likely Pompey will fold. Game against Hull could be thier last.

Oh dear!!!!
when will the board wake up and see that Laws is never going to succeed at the club. A 4-0 home defeat to a mediocre Reading is not promotion standard.
No gameplan, again too many playing in the wrong position, and no tactics.

Leon Cort, who we payed Stoke City £1.5m for, must be the worst centreback in the league. Can't read the game and too slow. Gave away the penalty before eventually getting sent off.

Pethetic performance from the clarets, pathetic

It's come time to send an SOS out to Patrick Kisnorbo. We've let in way too many goals this season. It's becoming beyond a joke. :(
How Bothroyd escaped without a card for that filthy challenge on Becchio this morning, i don't know.
Cardiff WILL be promoted this season.

Chopra was also offside for Cardiff's 2nd goal but it was a great finish.

Haven't seen a proper replay of the Bothroyd incident but after the game he said he shouldn't have been sent off.

Very impressive result though but not going to get my hopes up just yet. Bellamy's form should improve as he is able to train all week now and he was awarded MOTM today.

That must have been a really mediocre game by the Royals, I mean only 4 goals? Very happy with that result, especially against a (normally) very good opposition in Burnley, one of our main promotion rivals IMO. I guess we managed to throw your lot off your game. Thanks for the goal difference, could be handy in the promotion race.

And it's good we can win away games. You guys would be at the top of the table if you could.... 0 from 6

Actually they were mediocre, it's just that we were worse. You just had to be there to see how bad the game was. And how bad the ref was too. You could tell he wasn't having a good day when the crowd started singing 3-0 to the referee

3 points separate 6th from 15th. Such a tight mid table at the moment.

Not a great game. Both had their chances but both seem to settle for the draw with 20 mins left
Great turn out by the clarets again and made all the noise
Nightmare journey to London though taking nearly 9 hours. Shocking

Another Leeds Hat Trick.

Becchio who was not on the ground until the 61st minute either

A 3-1 win over Bristol has put them in 5th spot with a big game against Norwich coming up.

A man we need to sign up. His contract runs out at the end of the season.

Huge game away to Norwich to come, then another away match at Reading.

Definately, apparently Hull are sniffing around Big Luc.

I started the season thinking a midtable finish would be a good result. Don't want to get too far ahead of myself but am beginning to dream of a play off final...
