Dont get me wrong, still think Arsenal will be around the mark, reckon there might be 4 or 5 sides finish within a few points at the top this season. Absolute disaster if Arsenal fail to qualify for Europe, Wenger is fairly tight with the purse strings so it makes it hard to recruit if you are not playing amongst the elite. FWIW i think they will qualify but how much it takes out of them we will see

Pienaar has a massive groin?

Not a huge loss, especially while we still have Nico Kranjcar on the books. Spurs midfield is pretty deep:

Modric, Bale, Sandro, VDV, Lennon, Huddlestone, Diarra (as of Friday ;) ), Kranjcar, Jenas, Livermore, Palacios and Bentley.

Yeah spot on mate. Done deal basically. Sad to see Sargent Wilson go. He did a stellar job for us over 2 seasons and I'll never forget his first game against the scum where he OWNED Cesc. Since his kidnapped brother was found dead, he's just not been the same player. Sad story..

Will always keep an eye on the Sarge wherever he ends up. A genuinely good, humble human being which is rare in a footballer these days.

Nah, Hulk signed an extension at Porto unfortunately. I think his buy out clause is EUR 38m.

I'd still love to see him in the prem, but Levy will never stump up that sort of cash.

We're in for Adebayor (if we can agree on wages - FU citeh!!! ), Rossi (can't see him leaving chumps league to come to Spuds) and Llorente who is most likely.

I'll be happy with any of them to be honest!!

Problem is, he just doesn't score goals. And if proper football had a stat equivalent to the AFL clanger, Sarge would lead the way.

UPDATE: Apparently, we are back in talks with HULK. He's apparently keen on coming to test himself in the EPL.

Personally, I can't see it being done, but if we did stump up the cash, I doubt Porto could knock it back.
