Was always on the cards.
These big stars hate sitting on the bench. Shiteh have plenty of strikers and plan to bring in more.
Berbatov is in the same boat, cant blame guys for wanting to do what they love even if it means not as many trophies.
Dzeko is quality, will have no problem getting a gig, reckon he will end up in Italy or Germany

Emile Heskey has been released by Villa.
One has to ask how has this donkey lasted so long in the EPL?

I can't believe he didn't make the England squad for Poland.
That'll be Roy's undoing.

Julien Faubert, Abdoulaye Faye, Papa Bouba Diop, John Carew, Frank Nouble and Olly Lee will all leave West Ham United when their current contracts end on 30 June.

And to think West Ham loaned Faubert out to Real Madrid at one point!

heskey was hard at the ball in his prime, and partnered Owen up front well when he was playing well. IMO he was a valued contro to the england team

Champions League winners Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa have been released by the club and Paolo Ferreira, Florent Malouda and Michael Essien have their meeting next week with all 3 likely to be shown the door

yep cause Chelsea almost broke even or made a profit (first time under roman's ownership)....all on our own and without roman writing us check ya go us, guess that means we earned these two cups because apparently it you only earn it if your profit margin is in positive or braking even
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

I thank them all for there service to Chelsea and wish them well, but realisticly its the clean out that needs to happen this season alone yuri, alex, anelka, drogba, kalou, bosingwa, paolo, malouda, essien. I am sure yossi will join the list along with hilario. so will be intresting to see who is bought in player wise and manager wise (still hoping for RDM).

I still rate Kalou and Malouda, the others have done well but time to move on.
Guessing Fat Frank will be staying on.
I reckon the managers job might get ugly, you have Abramovich stating he doesnt think RDM is worldclass and will only offer a short term contract at best and now you have RDM saying he wants a long term contract or he will walk.
My money is on Capello

Already ruled himself out of it. Kalou is the one I would keep out of the players being released, not the greatest but is a good squad player who doesn't bitch and moan etc, also came out that the jurno who report torres bitching and moaning had put words into his mouth.....gotta love the sun.

Wow this will be rear given the events of this week, but I agree losing Drogba will be a major loss but I guess this is where we now need to build the team around torres and move forward and change our style of play.
