He'd be much better off staying in British football where his game is suited. He could guide Spurs to a title in the not too distant future.
Agree about English players struggling in Spain but I think he wants to win trophies and play regular CL. He realistically hasnt got a hope of either at Spurs. Can see the current top 3 dominating for a few years yet with Arsenal probably the only threat to their domination
Agreed Jim. Spurs are at least 4 or 5 players short of a title side. Bale on his own simply isn't enough. As for setting the world on fire, I think he would actually go ok in Spain. They play the type of game suited to him and you can bank on it, Spurs will sell at £50m
