Seen as you seem to be big on history -we wont talk abut the near 20 years your FC went without winning any "trophies" from mid 1940s, to the mid 60s

nor the relegation in that time...opps Arsenal has never been relegated, were relgated in 1913 from memory, but re instated to the top division , and push the spuds out :D ;)

LOL Arsenal fans are history buffs too mate, seeings you've won nothing for 6 (or is it 7??) seasons.

I hope we get relegated again if it means we come back and win more titles than Arsenal again :D

Oh dear what have I started
Come on you two, you both know you are fighting for leftovers that the big clubs leave behind now ;)
Seriously though the wheel will turn again guys, 30 years ago I could never of imagined we would go on to dominate and Liverpool would struggle, all reigns come to end the great Liverpool and Arsenal eras have been and gone, who knows we may have just won our last title for the next 20 years and a new era of a differant club may be just about to begin

Shiteh aren't a big club yet but they could be one day.
Im still hoping the money runs out and their crappy stadium crumbles down and they go back to being just a Sh!t football side playing in the lower divisions. Going into administration and folding would be better though

Probably all hinges on the definition of "Big".

You pricks are for sure lol, but Man City and Chelsea when it comes to $$ then yep, but they don't have "Big" records (the Chavs are closer to it).

If it refers to regularly playing CL, then City, Chavs and Francenal are there aswell.

In my own mind (acknowledging we haven't been a big club for years now), I can't refer to any club as big unless they are regularly winning the biggest titles, but I guess there's only two of them up for grabs every season.

Its an urban myth that Arsenal have never been relegated
Arsenal were relegated in 1912-13 and played Div 2 for a couple of seasons before WW1, when the war finished they came straight back into Div1

Yes when the war finished and the league started again in 1919 Spurs were relegated because they were bottom in the last pre war year, strangely Arsenal were promoted despite finishing 6th in League 2. Id imagine the top 5 div 2 sides at the time would of been pissed off aswell

If they had stayed South they would of folded the following year, pretty bold and gutsy move to head into North London but its paid off

we moved north because the "north london clubs " at the time were poor , and the north required a champion club to boost the "norths Image" :D
