I actually think Adelaide will beat Melbourne this weekend unfortunately. Had a reasonable start to the season but without Archie and Muscat cant see them getting over the line to be honest. Should be without Danny as well as i think he should have been selected in the Socceroos squad but i guess thats another story...

Pup, with you admitting that, we won't be coming anywhere close enough to you to hold anything against you. ;)

ROUND 3
Central Coast def Queensland 1 nil in Brisbane
Adelaide drew 1 all vs ##### at Hindmarsh.
Perth Glory drew nil all vs BLING in Perth.
Wellington 0 lost to Newcastle 1 in the Land of the long white clouds....

The wrap up...
CCM still hitting the net (5), and yet to concede. They are on fire and looking the goods.
Adelaide well...should've capitilised against the #####. Micky V is out for the season.
They played Ago up front by himself, in the second half they threw Burnsy along side him
and he looked much more potent, as did Adelaide. Need to get a win next week against Newcastle.
Perth had another exciting nil all against BLING. Perth have yet to score, whilst
BLING are sitting second to bottom :D
Wellington are back into form for a NZ side...sitting on bottom of the league, whilst Newcastle are
only the second side to record a win this season..INCREDIBLE !!

Ladder

Team P W D L F A GD Pts
Central Coast Mariners 3 3 0 0 5 0 5 9
Newcastle United Jets 3 1 2 0 2 1 1 5
Adelaide United 3 0 3 0 5 5 0 3
Melbourne Victory 3 0 3 0 3 3 0 3
Perth Glory 3 0 3 0 0 0 0 3 *HOW TO SIT MID TABLE AND NOT SCORE :D *
Queensland Roar 3 0 2 1 3 4 -1 2
Sydney FC 3 0 2 1 2 3 -1 2
Wellington Phoenix 3 0 1 2 2 6 -4 1

ROUND 4

BLING V WELLINGTON @ BLING STADIUM
Bling SHOULD get their first win for the year against the Kiwi's, who have to be said
have been a bit unlucky so far...2 - 0 Sydney

NEWCASTLE V ADELAIDE@ Energy Australia Stadium
Going for a bit of a upset here. Adelaide are without Micky V & Burnsy BUT
will get back Sarkies & Djitte. Erdogan looked very good when he replaced Mike last
week and should fill the hole nicely. Adelaide's depth this year is excellent and with
Spags and Lucas looking for a start, there should be no person sitting on their laurels...2 -1 Adelaide

##### V CENTRAL COAST MARINERS @ TELSTRA DOME
Well the ##### have yet to open the account this season, playing in three draws. This will change
unfortunately this week. CCM have been good so far this season without dropping a game, but
I feel #### will need to win otherwise they may fall into the pack...#### 1 - 0

PERTH GLORY V QUEENSLAND
This could be the most boring game of the round...in fact I think it will be. Perth have not scored
this season  Queensland are Beautiful one day, shocking the next...depends which one turns up...nil all...

Felipe for Wellington scored in the 9th

NEWCASTLE V ADELAIDE @ Energy Australia Stadium

CCM have a nice break on third position. Newcastle looking good also. Queensland very hot and cold.
Melbourne yet to win a game, and yet to lose, Wellington picked up their first win for the season,
Adelaide need to pull the finger out, Perth will finish bottom and Sydney you f##kin beauty !!

Bit of a worry Victory's start to the year.

Should not have given up a 2-0 lead to the newcomers in round 1 ( In the end deserved to and should have lost )

Missed some pretty easy chances on the weekend to. ( Kevin Muscats in particular )

Need Archie and DAnny to hit a bit of form in the next 3-4 weeks!

ROUND 5

Friday 21 September 2007
Newcastle Jets v Melbourne Victory @ EnergyAustralia Stadium - Newcastle

Saturday 22 September 2007
Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United @ Westpac Stadium - Wellington
Queensland Roar v Sydney FC @ Suncorp Stadium - Brisbane

Sunday 23 September 2007
Central Coast Mariners v Perth Glory @ Bluetongue Central Coast Stadium

A big round which will go a fair way to shape the season...
Newcastle sitting a game clear in second v Melbourne sitting fourth yet to
have a win. If Newcastle get up, then Melbourne will ebout of the four pending
other results and could be in a spot of bother.
Wellington will be primed and pumping to defeat a travel weary United. Adelaide
welcome back Burnsy who will need to use his fresh legs and try to burn Aloisi...
A win to Wellington will push them into the 4 pending other results as would a Adelaide
win. Adelaide need to get a point as a minimum to consolidate their fair form on the road.
Queensland to beat Sydney and keep the BLING on the bottom of the league...
If Sydney drop this game it will be very tough to get into the four...
Central Coast to remain on top with a easy win over Perth...

Crikey, the drawfest continues in the A-League.

12,127 at Wellington though, that's a great crowd compared to what the NZ team got in Auckland last year.

Yeah the draws are the go this year, but there have been few goalless (unless you're Perth)..
8 goals scored with 2 draws is a pretty high return...

Great crowd for the Kiwi's..hope it continues...
