O:-) that's not really trolling....I was looking for updates on the Heineken Cup matches and saw it included soccer so thought I'd share and as I'm sure you know 'poofball' is what almost all fans of the prolate spheroid call soccer...a term of endearment if you will ;)

There's about a foot of snow here and I'd be suprised if Blackpool goes ahead as they don't have undersoil heating

JTC, the report over here was pitch fine, but no one can get anywhere near the ground due to the excess snow. I am tipping you will be about 3 foot under snow where you are. Just to keep you happy, middle of summer here, 17 degrees, rain and windy, sounds more like a Lancashire summer I know.

Not quite 3 foot but bad enough. My son and his girlfriend fly to Melbourne on Christmas Eve. Assuming the airport is open

Watched the Ipswich v Leicester game last night. Snowed heavy throughout the game and the ref took them off for 15 mins in the 2nd half so they could have another go at clearing the pitch. I suspect the Foxes were hoping the ref would abandon the game.

Don't worry JTC, an A-League game was called off today due to a water logged pitch 15 minutes in, and we're meant to be having Summer

Always great when those scumbags get beaten.

Dennis Tuert was on the radio today saying that one of the reasons for Tevez's change of heart is City's plan for player investment in January.
Apparently they are going on another spending spree

All the money in the world wont bring a trophy to those losers.
They will never be any good, it showed yesterday they had everything to play for, a home game against a struggling side with the chance to be top at chrissy and they fold meekly. City always crack under pressure and expectation.
Money doesnt guarantee success, just ask real madrid who havnt won jack shit for years with their budget
