Tevez has had his £170,000 ($350,000) Bentley confiscated by the police. Apparently, they pulled him over on the M60 motorway because the tinted windows were too dark, but on checking his details, they found that he didn't have a licence

Couldnt work out whether to put that one in the Man U or Spurs thread mate? ;)

Looks like someone got him but didn't complete the cut.
I have no idea what that means  :?

JTC - I was referring to the 80's movie Highlander where the immortals get beheaded until there is only 1 left.
It looks like someone got to Tevez with the toledo salamanca but didn't completely behead him.

Alrighty lads, make some of my better sporting bets when Im on the gas, can't say much for the Poker of GG's whislt under the influence ... Anyway, accidentally stumbled upon the top EPL goal scorer odds as follows:

Name Odds

Top Goal Scorer
Cristiano Ronaldo 3.00
Nicolas Anelka 3.00
Fernando Torres 11.00
Robinho 11.00
Gabriel Agbonlahor 17.00
Robin Van Persie 17.00
Dimitar Berbatov 21.00
Amr Zaki 26.00
Emmanuel Adebayor 34.00
Darren Bent 34.00
Jermain Defoe 51.00
Wayne Rooney 51.00
Frank Lampard 51.00
Steven Gerrard 51.00
Peter Crouch 67.00
D Cisse 67.00
Michael Owen 81.00

Now as it stands, the leaderboard is like this:

Anelka 14
Ronaldo 11
Robinho 11
Agbonlahor 10
Zaki 10
Gerrard 9
Bent 9
Lampard 9
Van Persie 9
Defoe 9
Cisse 9

Now my immediate reaction was Ronny at 3's, but he still has a few goals to make up on Anelka, who whilst I rate him as no higher than "OK" as a player, might benefit from a new regime at Stamford (and let's face it the Chelsea of old could score big).

So .. In case there's some $$ to be made here, if you all had $50 to spend, which way would you lean?

Being a boring stats man, I say hedge your bets:

30 on Ronnie - he's favourite for a reason - because he's the best (complete cock arse though) [90 return]
10 on Torres - pure class [110 return]
8 on Berbatov - see Torres [168 return]
2 on Darren Bent - Makes your cash back + a little profit if he goes on an unlikely run against the shittier teams Spurs are coming up against. [68 return] (Could also be tempting to sub AdebayWHORE for Bent at the same return, but a few goals behind)

Agree on Anelka - he's OK, but thats it.

How does owen come in at 81 when he's not due back until March 15 at the earliest? And he plays for the Geordies FFS.

The mighty Man Utd got up 2-1 over Newcastle Berbatov and Rooney both scoring. Newcastle struck first though through Lovenkrands. Next premier league match against the Scousers at Old Trafford should knock them out of the title contension.

Following on from the AU GF red card debacle.

Just seen Vidic take an elbow to the face drawing blood to his cheek. Clearly an accident, no card no free nothing and rightly so.

In the same game, Taylor of Newcastle was booked for what was nothing more than an arm on the shoulder of that cheating twat Ronaldo. Ronnie goes down rolling over at least 3 or 4 times clutching his face like he has just been poleaxed by Mike Tyson.

Old Red Nose is jumping up and down on the touch line throwing a tantrum and baying for Taylors blood, and the ref nearly obliged but only gave Taylor a yellow.

No wonder the referee struggles to make the correct decision. Taylors arm never came within a carpenters yard of Ronaldo's face, and the actual contact was so minimal a 3 year old girl would not have batted an eyebrow at it.

The morale of this tale. Player and manager power definitely influence the ref's decision. Just ask Muscat.

Johnny, did you see Luca Modric's spat at Ronaldo for his theatrics? I'll try to dig it up in Engrish.
