Im sure he cant work it out either!! Amazing last few minutes really. Interesting your views on Fozzie- Some of my mates absolutely hate him too- but i reckon hes awesome- he comes across (and may well be) really arrogant which doesnt help his cause- i think the main reason i like him is these days on telly, in the paper, on the news- all you get is people talking about peripheral airy fairy gossipy crap. Fozzie talks about the game and the game only- hes one of the few special comments men who dont pretend to know what the players is thinking (ian healy, malcolm blight cough cough) and explains what we are seeing from a technical point of view. Not trying to pursuade you CP just explaining why i like the ****

LOL No drama's at all mate, truth be told I probably just hate him because he gets up Liverpool a lot

Definitely has that arrogance, but I don't have a problem with that, sometimes I think he just comments on a level thats above his playing weight ... I'm screwed either way, Fozzie or Tommy Smyth on ESPN?!?! :?

good result to get a 2-2 draw with arsenal, thought they were a chance to win it before the game after having a week off and arsenal playing twice.........

pity about the broken leg, but these thing happen....

What a huge effort by the Brummies.
I slept through it, although I woke up in time to see the leveller, so I could watch Sunderland....lose again.

JTC,

How many points are going to be needed to avoid relegation this season?
If Sunderland's (26 points) still slightly under threat of going the drop, are Punky's Tynesiders (28 points)?
Will a win against SJABC's Ram's next weekend get the Cats over the line or is it too early to tell?

Forgive me if any of the above questions are a bit obvious - I'm a member of the great uninformed.

The real talking point of the night's action was Eduardo's terrible injury... he will struggle to return to football after that. There are photos online but they are quite graphic.

Birmingham did brilliantly to grab a point, I don't know what Clichy was thinking though. McFadden is a super talent though. The dropped points allowed United to close within three after thrashing Newcastle 5-1, that's 11 goals in two games against the Magpies this season.

Cardiff lost again though, our league form has disappeared.

That injury was horrific. It was not replayed over here as Eduardo's broken bones had actually pierced his skin.

I had had a similar injury where I was crunched playing twilight football (soccer). My ankle was dislocated and both bones broke just above my ankle, though, they never pierced the skin. I needed a full ankle recon and a titanium plate put into my leg to hold it together. I was lucky and have recovered to about 95% thanks to some outstanding assistance from a physio.

I'd say it's an 18 month injury, but the problem is confidence. I won't play either codes again for fear of re-injuring it.

Still, he's young, so hopefully, given he will receive the best treatment available, he will come back and play again.

On the match, what the hell was Gallas doing after Clichy had conceded the penalty? What if Almunia had saved it? And also what happened after the game when he charged to remonstrate with Clichy then sat on the pitch and sulked while his team mates left the field. What a disgraceful display by the CAPTAIN. That sort of thing could really de-rail their season. Wenger should drop him for the next match to make an example of him. What a complete MUPPET!

Well played to Birmingham. McFadden was excellent

SCott Carson is surely the best English keeper at the moment.
A few brilliant saves in the Reading v Villa game which is 0-2 to the villains.

Carling Cup Final

Spurs 2 - 1 Chelski (AET)

Spurs really haung on for the last half hour, and Kalu and Joe Cole both missed golden opportunites to score.

Guess DA will out on the p1ss tonight. Ave one for me mate. Apparently most of the Chelski fans would have missed it though as they went home with 10 minutes to go.

Next up on Sky.. Australian Soccer Final.
