understand that fergie ' may' want to quit or retire, but why would man united talk to mourhino at this stage to take fergis place. i would assume that man united would want to hold onto fergie as long as possible. if fergie retires then yes but seems strange man united looking further then fergie.

Strewth ... Just remembered I had Hull v Newcastle, Pompey v Boro and Villa v Tottenham to all draw in a multi bet at around 33.1 .. Have now laid the other two results in the Villa game for a guaranteed profit, with the draw remaining the best payout, followed by a Spurs win :D

Just btw, not the easiest to jag, but a 3 draw Multi always returns healthy odds between 20/1 - 35/1

some very interesting results this weekend. A Villa, when the hell did they win a game last?? seems the fourth spot may have gone to there heads. dont they have Man united at OT this weekend? cant remember. and totts, well they helped us out ( Thanks DA ) on holding that fourth spot. And how can we forget Liverpools win !!!!!. Wigan pushing up with a nice win at sunderland, or tho it being under scruteny as something about an injury with a sunderland player and they all stopped waiting for the ref to blow the whistle. This season could be shaping up to be very interesting over the WHOLE table, not just fourth, and relegation spots

Got 20/1 on the ground at Turf Moor Connie. Also took the Clarets to win 4 - 1 at 33s  Still happy to take the 5 - 0. Only had £2.00 on the Gooners but a nice £40 return made even sweeter as it was the b4st5rds.

Funnily, I took the Clarets at 33/1 to win 4 - 1 against Palace mid-week too

9 goals in the last 2 games, certainly has given our goals for column a boost.

My thoughts are thus:

You've assumed Spurs are safe, however in this season of ups, downs, sideways and generally close runnings from safety to relegation, you're saying Spurs must beat a team or two that they;re perhaps not entitled to beat in order to be assumed to be safe.

So, you're effectively saying that Spurs will beat Chavski, which I agree with, so play an an kudos to you my feathered friend.

Fulham defeat the Mancs after Scholes sent off after 18 mins and then Rooney after 88 mins.

Seems that as soon as managers make very public remarks about one of their contenders the wheels start to fall off.

I went to the Fulham v Man U game today. One of the better games I've been to for atmosphere. It helped that Fulham won. Ronaldo is a big sook. Schwarzer made some great saves and I thought Hangeland played well in defence.

What a game to go to! Craven Cottage is a greate venue for watching football IMO as you're always so close to the action.

Agree with Jabber too - Schwartzer = LEGEND. What a great couple of saves.

The Scholes and Rooney incidents were absolutely comical IMO. Wasn't it Scholes who did a spike in a Champions League game last year too?

And WTF is wrong with Shrek Rooney? He's a nut case. Absolutlely hilarious though that dummy spit. That'll be played for years IMO and Timmie Cahill has definitely found his match for flag punchers! Man Shrek gave that poor corner flag a battering!

Well played to Fulham who have been the quiet achievers at home all year. The Cottage has been a fortress for them and for a change, they're not in a relegation scrap, but the race for a Wafer Cup spot, which I'm delighted to announce, Spurs have joined!

If the bin dippers can get 3 points against the Villa, the pressure is really on Utd, who will have Rooneh and Scholes out for their next game. Still, they're 4 points clear level on games at this stage, so still in the box seat (Until Spurs go and take 3 points at OT!!!).

You like seeing Man Utd loose?

Insipid performance by United. Didn't turn up until the 60th minute and created enough chances to at least get a point but just couldn't find the back of the net, some top saves by Schwarzy didn't help the cause.
