Yep its official.
What a Fu**in disgrace Chavski are, Abramovich is a pathetic tossbag, to sack the only guy in the history of the Club to win the Champions League is a dog act and Abramovich is the problem with the Chavs not the managers.
No one is ever going to be good enough for this wanker and Guardiola wont be any differant, cant wait until they flop again next season and Pep gets the ass after a few months in charge.

Chelsea are a joke club. He just won the Champions League and they are only 4 points off top. I'd love to see them fall out of the top 4 even more now.

Like seriously I understands what roman wants, but he needs to understand we wont win everything every ******* year, if they both didn't have huge egos Jose would of never left and everything would of been fine.

Well I would go for either fulham, leyton orient, sutton united, afc wimbledon before anyone else in the uk, i would probs just stop watching english football or at least boycott chelsea untill he is gone.

Does Torres have incriminating photos of Roman?
Seems that anyone who doesnt play him 90 minutes every game gets the boot.
He seems to have some grand plan of Torres scoring 50 goals a season, newsflash wanker he is a dud!!
Smart move taking on Rafa, look at the state he left Liverpool in

Torres was no fan of Rafa by the end of their days together .. Wasn't happy being subbed off, and wasn't happy playing as a lone striker/forward.

Rafa too though struggled in area's because of the tossers sitting in the Owners chair(s) .. Different issue's and different reasons, but same cause of the problem for Rafa and the host of Chelsea managers - The inmate running the bloody assylum!!

Atm no replacement has been announced that is set to be announced in less than 30 mins.

I would rather, Mark Hughes, Gary Megson, Paul Jewell, Steve Keen and Rini Coolen all ahead of Rafa

I guess that the russian does own chelsea, and if he wants to spend his money a certain way then he has a right to as its his money. But who would take that job knowing if torres doesnt get every game, then the manager will be gone in a way.

a lot of chelsea fans not happy. Man citeh on the weekend. Maybe Mark Hughes will get the arse at QPR and then move across london to Chelsea before the weekend ;)

Both, It's not just cause of Liverpool, he went to Inter after the easiest job in the world (jose had set it up, just had to play as was and would of won the title) and within 4 months he had screwed it up so hard they sacked him.

Fergie would punch the Russian git in the face if he ever told him what to do.
The owner should have no influence on team selection or tactics.
Our owners might be alot of things but atleast they dont meddle with the team

I am sure he is to, I am just so annoyed that we lose a few games and everything has to change, when level heads are what is needed. I hope RDM all the best for the future and with whats on the horrizn for chelsea..."god help us all" (for the chelsea fans of coarse)

No, fair call mate .. I must admit I didn't pay any attention to Rafa's career after he was squeezed out of Anfield.

On what I saw in that time though, both what he did and tried to do (but was thwarted by upstairs), I'd take home 50 times over the other names you mentioned.

But as I said, you have good reason to feel angst toward him.

We have got to point where you have to be looking for a pay day, a mad man or an idiot to take on the chelsea job.

can't believe i am gonna say this but ken bates may of been a complete james blunt but at least he let the football side of things run on there own and only in drastic situations step in

The Official Statement:

STATEMENT ON ROBERTO DI MATTEO

Posted on: Wed 21 Nov 2012
Chelsea Football Club has parted company this morning with Manager Roberto Di Matteo.

The team's recent performances and results have not been good enough and the owner and the Board felt that a change was necessary now to keep the club moving in the right direction as we head into a vitally important part of the season.

The club faces a difficult task ahead in qualifying for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League as well as maintaining a strong challenge for the top of the Premier League while competing in three other cup competitions. Our aim is to remain as competitive as possible and challenge strongly on all fronts.

The owner and the Board would like to thank Roberto for all he has done for the club since taking over in March. Roberto helped guide us to an historic Champions League victory and a seventh FA Cup. We will never forget the huge contribution he has made to this club's history and he will always be welcome at Stamford Bridge.

The club will be making an announcement shortly regarding a new first team manager.
