United have to play some big teams away from home yet, so to all the united fans that keep giving me hell (not on here away from here) we will see how good you really are in the coming weeks..

tottenham away
Arsenal away
Chelsea away and home
Man city home
Liverpool away(dont say its easy as its a derby and you lost there last year)

If you can come out of these games with no losses then i think the title is yours but just wait and see.

United don't even know what a loss is.

Good win this morning, both were top notch goals, a slice of luck with Chicharito of course but Nani's was a belter.

Also CP stop trying to jinx us. ;)

like Arsenal a few years ago...didnt know how to lose ;) went the full season without a loss :)

That season was amazing for arsenal. Even if i do hate to admit it. I thought you guys would get on a bit of a roll for the next couple of seasons but for some reason you never went on with it

Alot of players were getting on. Losing Patrick Viera was the main reason as this was the season after we went undefeated that he left. That was a major blow. Then Dennis Bergkamp retired, followed By Robert Pires leaving and then God Thierry Henry. David Seaman also had left also we have never really recovered from him moving on either as our keepers lately are not up to scratch. Fabregas/RVP were only youngsters at this stage and had not developed enough to fill the gaps

Wont mention Cahsley Cole moving to chelski. He was and is still a decent player.

Possibly worth discussion in another topic, but amazing how many quality players that form part of scary good teams in a league then switch to another league or club and are a shadow of their former selves.

Na here is fine mate, I just meant we could almost have a dedicated topic for it, such is the number of players that didn't go on with it once they moved from a club they starred at .. You mentioned several already from Arsenal, but there would be bucketloads from many different clubs over the years that fit the same mould.

CP, can only be 1 reason why they move, MONEY unfortunately. Probably why Bale will leave Spurs eventually. As to why they are only a shadow, they probably have to work a lot harder and become the central player, rather than 1 of half the team. PRESSURE, I think they call it. Good post though.

If bulldog meant as a player then he is correct.
Yes he might get a champions winners medal, but as a PLAYER, he is nothing compared to when he was at Liverpool.

Why would you lower yourself to leave Liverpool for Real Madrid, Newcastle then Man UTD is beyond me.

I would like to add that Owen desperately wanted to return to Anfield upon leaving Real Madrid and Newcastle.
RAFA firstly wouldn't match the 15 mill Newcastle put up and then didn't think we needed him after leaving the Geordies.

Chelsea lost to Wolves.

City and Arsenal draw 0-0. Towards the end of the game City take their only striker Tevez off and end up with 0 up front. They really are quite pathetic, they are not interested in winning the League, they just want to draw against their rivals and hope they slip up against other teams. All that money and they play boring rubbish.

Great morning for United though.

Fantastic morning. All our rivals dropping points. Arsenal and man shitty draw, chelsea and spurs lose and liverpool get hammered. Can life get better. Down to two in title race. Chelsea, spurs and shitty gone.
Man shitty are a pathetic bunch of losers, what a waste of money.
Reckon couple of managers will get the boot this week with villa in rekegation zone and the hammers hammered. Can see grant, hodgson, houllier and possibly ancelotti given the flick

Whilst I hope you're right, and there's no way Hodgson is the right man for Liverpool, as the commentator said this morning "The players need to have a good hard look at themselves, but they don't do that anymore do they" - A rather poignant point I would have thought.

Yes Roy is average, as are many of Liverpool's players, but they are all playing below even the lowest levels I thought them capable of .. I've been a critic of Glen Johnson's in the past and finally the commentator said it perfectly this morning - "He's the best attacking defender in the English team, but a defenders first job should be to defend" and GJ has ZERO idea about that (can't blame Woy for his signing either)

LOL ok I'll stop there before I rant even further
