Rooney to miss 3-4 weeks with a knee strain picked up in training.
Whilst not great news for United the positive is that Hernandez will now get some decent game time

was about to rant on about theo and the goals and missed opportunitys in the game but then he goes and scores another 2 goals.

Sign him up says the fans at the ground. After todays efforts i would think give him what he wants

but his first goal was offside yes, but the chances missed from then between the first to his second is what he goes through, looks like a world class player for 20 minutes, then fluffs his lines for the rest of the match

Wenger has said in his post match interview that "Arsenal still have a good chance this season". Even me being a full blooded gooner can see it was gone long time ago

I agree that the title is out of reach. Only 3 clubs can win it from here, 1 of us may slip up but I cant see all 3 of us stumbling.
You guys should still grab 4th though, the Spuds are due for their normal capitulation so I think its down to Arsenal and Everton to fight for 4th

Chavs are the big winners so far in the transfer window.
Offload a dud in Sturridge to Liverpool for an over inflated fee of £12m and pick up Demba Ba for a bargain at £7m.
I know which player id rather have.
Why the hell didnt Liverpool try for Ba?

Ba's manager has definately pulled one over Newcastle.
To put an escape clause in his contract that can be triggered for as low as £7m and then to also put in the contract that Ba will get half that. Newcastle will only get £3.5m for one of the best players in the comp, suckers

Have had concerns for a while about the Liverpool owners understanding, or lack thereof of the sport they're involved in .. Paid too much (and in some cases FAR too much) for Adam, Downing, Henderson, Allen, Carroll and now Sturridge.

Too much buying in January too which generally seems to be the more overpriced trade window.

Yes. Fergie has often said he doesnt usually conduct much activity in January as its an overpriced trade window.
English players in general are way too overpriced, as soon as any Englishman shows any talent their price is jacked up.
You pay £12m for Sturridge but wont pay £7m for Sturridge and in the offseason you guys had the chance to buy Hernandez off us for £5(geez im glad that didnt go ahead, I love the little mexican)

Newcastle were able to sign Ba on a free from West Ham due to a relegation clause in his contract, so they can't really complain about his release clause with them.
