Mate, I wanted to rip Riley's head off after letting Cole continue by only showing him a yellow. Alan Hutton has had a compound leg fracture in the past and has a metal rod holding his lower leg together. It's tackles like that, which need to punished to the full extent of the rules.

It was a disgrace. If that was Keano, he'd have been given a 10 week layoff. Then the way Ca$hley Cole pranced about and turned his back on Riley was ludicrously childish. Compare that to Mascherano's sending off today....complete joke. Then the FA say there's nothing they can do about it. Here's an idea - ban the prick for the rest of the season to send out a message not just to the rest of the comp, but to all the kids playing Sunday league that showing contempt to the ref is not tolerated and you'll be sent off and banned for doing it. I think it would take maybe 5-6 red cards and bans for this type of behaviour and the problem would disappear. End of rant...

Chavski 2 - 1 Arsenal (Both goals to D(ive)rogba who's on fire)

Makes the title race VERY interesting if it stays like this.

Great Photo's DA...

Pity Spurs aren't playing the Rams again this season. Would be great for you to get to Pride Park or the Lane and take some pics of 'em before they go down :(

Great shots well done

File comment: Drogba - great player, but such a cheating, diving, arch your back and throw yourself on the floor to con the ref bastard!

couldnt the same be said for a certain Keene Spurs forward (I was at the cup game v Reading in Jan and he was a discrace and scored the only goal!)

Was that the cup replay at Reading? I was at that game too. How bizarre!

Anyhoo, on that game, I don't think Keano arched his back and throw himself on the ground once. Granted he did bitch and moan at the ref and his assistants for being caught offside numerous times and also at being held by Reading defenders, but I didn't see him play for the frees like Drogba and co.

I'm still pretty worried about Chelsea. The game at Stamford Bridge could go along way to deciding who takes the title.

SA couple of my mates follow Man U and it's Chelsea they've been most worried about all along ... Still think Man U will win, they just simply get the job done when it needs to be done, and thats what champion teams do.

IMHO, for their improved squad, my boys are still a long way off having that mentality and grit that's required to win the EPL :(

Not sure who you are talking about in that post ;) but Man Utd aren't really under a lot of pressure, they do handle it exceptionally well too. Just see the game on Sunday. There is pressure on Chelsea too, they can't afford to drop too many points from here. A while ago I thought it may be a 3 horse race.. but it's down to 2.

That's a good point, they have won 1 in a row and kept a cleansheet, probably their best form of the season. 8)

What a finish that was! Reid's goal just desserts. Wonder if Murphy had a good night out last night? Glad I stayed up to watch it.

Murphy would have become the most hated man on Wear-side with that shocking effort on goal had Fat Andy not stepped in with that cracker a the death! Good win by Sunderland.

Derby were unlucky not to have a win IMO. They had 5 or 6 clear chances to score but wither couldn't find the target or hit their shots straight at Kasey Keller. Sterijovski struck a cracking shot which took a good save by Keller.

The Rams become the first team to be relegated before April Fools day - unfortunately SJABC it's no joke!

Jermain Defoe hit 2 for Portsmouth to take his tally to 8 goals for the last 7 games. I still wish Spurs could have held onto him, but understand why he had to go. There was an interesting interview with him before yesterdays game, where JD admitted having to hold back tears at times after games where he'd sat on the pine all day. It's great to see him getting a full 90 mins and hopefully he can break back into the England side and show that beetroot faced cock McLaren what a dick he is for not taking Defoe to Germany in 2006.

Blackburn, Villa and Man Citeh proved once again yesterday that they are kiding themseles thinking they ever had a chance of snatching 4th.

Finally, the Arsenal game was a cracker. Terrible conditions at Reebok didn't detract from the game at all. With Bolton 2-0 up and Le Arse down to 10 men (after a shocking challenge by Diaby almost identical to that of Taylor on Eduardo - it was a miracle Steinsson didn't snap his leg too) the Wanderers looked like they had the points in the bag. Wrinkle bags bought on Walcott and Adebyor which totally changed the game. I still think they're out of the title race, but anything can happen this season!
