Joleon Lescott looks like something from star trek.

Everton will be lucky to get away with a 3-0 loss today......
But then again, they are the 4th most important team in town behind Liverpool, Liverpool reserves and tranmere.

Nice for the commentator to acknowledge that Torres took a battering in last weeks game.

Now, now ...... one of those convicts was the great Duke!

Seriously though mate, today Spurs did what they do best and that is mid table mediocrity at it's absolute WORST!

I sometimes liken being a Spurs fan to being a Richmond fan. The only difference is Spurs give you that glimmer of hope that makes you wonder what if. At least with the Tigers, there's no doubt from the outset.

I stand corrected JTC, but....

When Tranmere play 'pool or Everton it's called a merseyside derby.
The Liverpool echo carry all of Tranmere's match reports and write ups and I reckon most locals would tell you that Birkenhead is part of the Mersey area.
If not, then I reckon I could find some other amateur local club to take its spot and make Everton the 4th most important team.

I think his wage requirements are a deterrent to plenty of clubs also ... Unfortunately I don't know if we'll see much more of Harry which is a shame, because despite his detractors, he has talent to burn, but he hasn't been able to hit peak fitness and carry that, for a long long time.

im sure it will go down to the wire....lets see if MANURE can hold there lead this time, pressure building on MANURE now :)

Not sure who you are talking about in that post ;) but Man Utd aren't really under a lot of pressure, they do handle it exceptionally well too. Just see the game on Sunday. There is pressure on Chelsea too, they can't afford to drop too many points from here. A while ago I thought it may be a 3 horse race.. but it's down to 2.

MANURE = Man United  ... Have i clarified it for you yet ??

In the Coke league.

Cardiff 0 WBA 0
Wednesday 1 Coventry 1

The Owls scored at the death which lifts them out of the relegation zone.. replaced by Southampton!

Ain't that gonna be a shocker Soton in League 1. Ranks with Leeds last year and Nottm Forest a few years earlier. Soton about $70m in debt and rlegation would just about kill them off ?
