Wonderful win over Chelsea. A 3-0 flogging and it could have been more.

We play two games before Liverpool play next so we could go top... 8)

Could and %99 certain you will.

I noticed in JTC's info post, that Man U will be pressing hard for Benzema again in the summer ... When they pinpoint an individual they want, they rarely miss out on him.

Does that mean they're expecting to lose Tevez and/or Ronaldo ya reckon?

As a Wigan fan, I really can't see them knocking off the Red Devils.

They were a bit lucky to get away with the win over Tottenham, Manchester United don't lapse like the Spurs did.

CP - Rumour is Tevez has threatened to leave and more than likely will go.

The loan agreement with Tevez means UTD must pay 32mill to buy him.
I think most will agree that is overpriced and by what I'm reading UTD realise that too and are trying to lower the price agreed upon.
Problem is that it was the AGREED price as part of the loan agreement so I'd say he'll be playing somewhere else next season.

Benzema wanted to stay at Lyon for another season, full credit to him for that as it is a good career move. He could end up in Spain though, I think he said he wanted to go to Real but that could just be those clowns from Madrid talking crap again.

Wigan won't be easy. They are a quality side and you must be loving it right now silicone skyline, It should be a good match and United need to keep winning...

It will be a shame to lose Tevez as he is a fantastic player and deserves to be getting more game time but 32 mill is pretty steep. He has also spoken out about lack of game time.

It's funny, but if I had a "kick anyone in the nuts for free" ticket it would be either:

1) Christiano Ronaldo
2) Wayne Rooney
3) Alex Ferguson

First one I would, but you can't deny how great the bloke is on the pitch ... Rooney I wouldn't for sure ... I've never understood how an ex-toffee playing for Man U isn't on my most hated list, but he never has been and I respect him and his abilities.

Fergie I respect also, and would be lying if I didnt admit I was jealous of his achievements.

My 3 FWIW would come from Drogba, Ronaldo, Terry, Materazzi, Gattuso, Lampard, Carvalho and Mourinho (if I was lucky enough to get away with a Gaffer lol)

Yep. It's called tapping up and is totally against FA rules.

Do you think those gaylords at the FA will do a thing about it? Not a chance......hey Mr Berbatov???

Wigan weren't lucky to win, they totlly deserved it after being the best side for 90 mins. Just had to wait for 88 to settle it.
Dawson going off killed us. King is not fit, hasn't been since the end of Nov and should not play agin until his knee is injection free. And WTF was Arry doing taking Pav off for Bent in the first half, plus leaving Gomes on despite being clearly injured and almost totally incapable of keeping goal with his bung leg?

The Yids are turning on Arry this week. Muppets.

Yep. It's complete bullshite. A club is not allowed to approach a player without the consent of his current club. So a team like Man U just make completely un-obscure overtures that they are interested in a player, saying 'he's a great player and would fit perfectly in our system' blah, blah, blah, wank, wank, wank. They then get their players to say 'he's a fantastic player and I'd love to play with him.

Next thing, said player is refusing to play for his club ad demands a transfer and Bob's your dirty uncle, your best player is now a Red Devil.

I can't talk too loud though.....Juande Ramos from Seville.....Arshavin......

Im guessing all clubs would do it - I'd say we would have with Barry and Keane, and that Man U aren't exempt if a club like Real starting "inquiring" about Ronaldo?

Exactly CP. I think almost every club in the world has to put up with there players being "tapped up" and since there is unlikely to ever be a salary cap in the Premier League (or any European league) it will continue to happen.

Altho it used to be that the best players would only leave to play for the most successful clubs. Now they are going to the richest clubs. There arent many Matt Le Tissier's around who are just happy to play for the club they grew up with.

You can't talk mate when 'arry Rednapp LOVES to tap up....

How was his comments about Defoe "he held the ball up well, I wish he was still at Tottenham"... soon enough he is back at WHL.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was 'arry sending the naughty letters to Defoe as well.
