Just finished watching down the local and GET IN YOU CLARETS!!!!

What a display. I missed the first half (******* work!!!) but the highlights showed some brilliance by the BEAST Jensen in goals to deny 4 solid Gooner efforts. The 2nd half was a different story. The Clarets TOTALLY outplayed the Arse. Had them covered defensively, and always looked a threat going forward. McDonald will grab the headlines an rightfully so, but just as against against the dirty chavs, full accolades must go to the BEAST in goals who kept the Clarets alive under pressure in the first half.

I hate to say it, but **** I hope Spurs don't draw the Clarets before Wembley. Although, I don't want to be shown up on the big stage either....still, it'll be a win-win for me if that happens.

Calm down.....one game at a time.... blah, blah, blah.....COME ON YOU CLARETS!!!!!!!

Had a chat with my Claret's counterpart in the pub (the one I abuse last week  ) and turns out he's a good bloke, just a shy youngster. He wasn't so shy tonight giving the Gooners in the pub what-for! ARE YOU CHELSEA IN DISGUISE!!!!!

Great, great night. Wish I was in Lancashire!

Let's hope for:

- Spurs to demolish Elton's gay boys.
- B4st4rds to get over Ut's U/3's

and get a semi draw of:

Spurs v Derby - sorry Jabba, but SPURS ARE ON THEIR WAY TO WEMBLEY!
Clarets v B4st4rds - an beat those rent boys from spewood in the 95th minute with a Robbi Blake thunderbolt.

By my reckoning, our first major semi final appearance since losing to Man Utd in the FA Cup at Hillsborough in 1976.

Have been in China since Saturday am. Couldn't find a bar open with Skysports on, at 4.00am in the morning.

Bloody Chinese, I told them I was coming too.

Fantastic result.

So the last 3 rounds,

Fulham
Chelsea
Arsenal

I think there is a bit of a theme here. Look out DA, we are "gunning" for ya.

Man Utd are 4-1 up. Carlitos has a hattrick. 10mins to go.

Spurs won 2-1 over Watford after being a goal down.

Spurs 2 - Watford 1

Good result. IMO could have been 3 or 4, but happy with the progression to the semis. WTF is it with Watford's stadium and pitch? Who in their right mind would want the play there????? Oh, that's right...nobody.....everyone's leaving  Couldn't help it.

We were quite bad for small patches tonight and never really got out of 3rd gear, but play on.

Manure 5 - B4st4rds 3. Must have been a cracker at the theatre of (bad) dreams. Tevez ended with 4, while McCarthey got a brace and Derbyshire netted. Not enough for the Gov'ners hacks to get through. Hope Ince didn't get too settled in Lancashire, cos he'll be out by Christmas!

Anyhoo, the semis draw takes place tomorrow at noon GMT. This stage is played over 2 home and away legs.

Spurs
Burnley
Derby
Manure

Personally, I'm hoping for:

Derby v Spurs (Return leg at the Lane)
Manure v Clarets (Burnley to win the leg at Turf Moor)

It's nice to dream.

Blackburn pulled it back to 4-3 before Tevez netted his 4th. Look forward to seeing the highlights tonight.

Saw this on the AUFC forum.

League Cup Quarters of '83...

JTC might like this, DA won't.

I can't see this happening if they meet in this season's Semis but you never know...

Never know RM, our defence is no better these days, and our keeper is prone to just a big cock-ups as Clemence for the 2nd goal - how was he not sent off?

There's a theory with Spurs fans that we'll forever be drawn against tougher opponents by warm balls being placed in the draw box. Personally, anyone who thinks this happens is a muppet.

Hey hey, great memories RM. Thanks for that. I was there that night. We did pretty well in the FA cup too. Shame about the league that year :(

Derby v Man U

Looks like another great week in the capital. QPR on Saturday in the FA Cup then Spurs on Wednesday in the League Cup.

Can't wait.
