HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Great find Smithy.

Chavski are pretenders of the largest proportions. We all know that the second Roman takes his Rubles and buggers off they will be struggling to stave off relegation.

Good article smithy.

Chavski v's Clarets Nov 2008 League Cup. Burnley sold out thier 6,500 allocation and asked for more. Chavski said sorry you can't have any more.

1994 payoff final, Wembley, Clarets sold their allocation of 36,000 and asked for more. FA said sorry, that's your lot. Stockport (Burnleys opponemts that day) sold 7,000, so only 43,000 there. Stupid decision by the FA in my opinion with a nearly half empty stadium.

And the Sherpa Van Final in the 80's between Burnley and Wolves. This is the comp for 3rd and 4th division sides, (Johnsons Pain Trophy now IIRC). both burnley and Wolves were in the 4th division then, and attracted 80,000+ to Wembley.

In the same year b4st4rds were playing Middlesboro in the Full Memebers Cup (reserved for 1st and 2nd division sides only) and had only 63,000 at Wembley.

I think fan base also has something to do with the size of the town. burnely has a population of about 55,000 people, and we attract on average 25% of the towns population to a home game.
Tomorrow that will rise to about 40%.

Just on seating allocation John, it was interesting to hear that the FA refused to reverse their decision for the Hillsborough game between Forest and Liverpool to give Liverpool 7000 less seats.
Forest failed to sell their allocation and the rest is history.

A mate of mine in London had to go to Chelsea earlier today. He put it in his sat nav, which informed him that Chelsea was 2 minutes from Rome.

Spurs forum mate.

One joke on there that I didn't put up here yet is that some deluded individuals on that forum think that Spurs could still be the first team from London to win the Champions League.

I'm not a great fan of Chavski as you all know, but I have a fair bit of sympathy with them.

One of the poorest displays of refereeing I have ever seen and clearly designed to prevent it being another all England final.

there is a lot of "conspiracy" talk going on over here, admittedly most of it by the Chelski camp, but come on, lets look at the game and there is no doubt in a blind mans eye that the ref favoured Barca and gave duck all to Chavski.

Once again, Platini has conspired to make sure the dreaded English are squeezed out. He is too bloody obvious in his disdain for the EPL to the point of being racist and he will be jumping for joy that Chavski are out of the way. All he needs now is to pick another puppet to ref the final.

Would make sense for them to use an obscure ref too (read: easy fall guy) ... I hate Platini and his clear and obvious bias, but thankfully I hate Drogba more, so Im happy with all thats taken place this week :D
