In the meantime working in health I'll do a ring around to see if their are any spare livers on ice here in Adelaide. I'm thinking if Burnley do win at Wembley you're gonna need it...

What a game, and 2 of the finest goals. My mate is now like a little kid, trying to work out the plans for what we will do playoff final morning. Go to town or he may come around my place and watch again.

For Posty and JTC sake come on you CLARETS.

Buy him a return ticket to london whufc. ;)

I wish i could, i would go with as well. He went over to England this season and managed to see a couple of games which were both loses mind you, i think one was against swansea and can't remember the other, may have been the QPR FA Cup replay at turf moor.

All pre-match my mate was saying that the Clarets tend to play better with thompson up front and then he goes and scores a cracker.
Thompson reaction and celebration was magnificent, not arrogant or rude but captured the moment perfectly IMHO.

Agree, we do have the added option of playing through the middle or from the wings when he is on. Looks a lazy player but does actually cover some ground and is good at winning the 1st header.

He has a bit of muscle and isn't scared of usiing it, as opposed to Patto who is 4 foot tall and weight 4 stone ;) I think when they are both on, we have a decent pairing up front, but our problem then tends to be where do we play Blake.

He can't tackle to save his life, never chases back and just wouldn't cope with the work rate in the middle. We play him kiind of up front but just off Patto or Thompson. He is a great striker of the bal and lays of some superb passes, but with Blake, Thommo and Patto all on we are under manned in the middle and that's when we get hurt by the opposition.

could Blake be used in behind the two strikers or play a role similar to Christian Ronaldo where he plays out wide/cuts in but has permission to cheat.

Sorry whufc, I missed this post. Just about spot on there, that's what we have been doing with him in some games, where Eagles is left on the bench. Eagles usually comes on and replaces Blake

Tuesady night. Nerves are kicking in now guys.....................

Burnley have sold their 36,000 allocation. In fact they sold them within two days and had over 50,000 applications. Sad thing is, I was talking to the commercial manager down there today. He siad that Sheff Utd had been on the phone, to see if we have sold all our tickets. Apparently they still have more than 3,000 left. I said they should sell them to Sheff Wed fans but the idea didn't get too much support.

Got my poster ready. "G'Day SAFooty from JTC" so watch out for it. Unfortunately we are on the same side as the cameras, opposite side to the big open tunnel thing on the half way line. So if you can imagine where the steps are, where the players go to get the trophy, we are on the opposite side of the ground to the left. Anyhow I'll keep it held high and you never know.

Yes that is keeper Bosnich and he is on the FoxSports panel.

Nothing wrong with him and his voice is far from annoying. He actually does a fantastic job and I think Mel McLaughlin is a bit keen... ;)
