Mistake by me. It's not actually a done deal. The Clubs agreed a deal but Carroll hasn't.

For west ham good move. For Liverpool not so he just played himself into form at the end of last season and think he would of done well for the scouse this season.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Im not so certain Andy Carroll is a good move. We are not short on strikers with Carlton Cole who is almost indentical style player. Vaz Te who was our best player in the last half of last season, and then the experienced Kevin Nolan as well.

We need some decent centre midfielders otherwise having 58 great strikers isnt going to help cause they wont see the ball.

Carlton Cole cops its a fair bit and he make some big blunders BUT having watched him closely now for 4-5 years he does alot of good things. Brings the other blokes into play, rarely gets beaten in the air and tends to draw 2 men to him when he does get the ball. Alot worse strikers out there compared to him.

Anyway my point more is that we could have Messi up forward and it wont matter as he will barely be able to tell the makers of the ball. And then when he eventually does see the ball is white we will be 3-4 nil down.

On Carlton Cole in his 181 league games for the club he has

46 goals and has been credited for 25 assists.

Alot of those appearance also have been of the bench, maybe up 30-40%.

Considering in his time at West Ham we have been relegated twice its not the worse record going around.
