and with Wellington announcing they are playing a game against the Galaxy that will draw 35,000 their crowds will probably just keep going up.

GO YOU MARINERS!!!!!

Bugger, would have liked to go watched the team that all true South Australian soccer fans (Central Coast Mariners) will be following next week at Hindmarsh but I think there's another game of some sort at Adelaide Oval that day. :(

Two superb goals by United to win their first of the season against the top side. I missed it as I was at Adelaide Oval, and I will miss the next game too due to the Grandy.
The week after we are home to Melbourne on Friday night, should be a beauty.

RM. Was there and yes indeed the first time that Central Coast had been scored against.
Burns got bought down outside the box and Djite scored within seconds, yet the ref paid the free kick
instead of advantage. Idiotic decision IMO.
Djite top scorer in the A-League. If he can refine his first touch and develop the killer instinct, watch out.
Burns BOG by miles...CCM had no answer, went the physical method and the ref protected him well...

Yeah the ref Breeze was crap, no advantage paid when we scored the goal!
Bruce and Burns are certainly a dynamic duo and work so well together. I have no idea how the Mariners haven't conceded as their defending on the first goal was atrocious!!
Richie put in a beauty for Bruce's diving header.

A few of us did get a Uniteeeeeedddddddd and Bruce Bruce Bruce! chant going on the hill yesterday after the final siren!!!

Round7
Friday 5 October 2007
Queensland Roar FC v Wellington Phoenix FC @ Suncorp Stadium

Saturday 6 October 2007
Bling FC v ########### @ Sydney Football Stadium

Sunday 7 October 2007
Central Coast Mariners FC v Newcastle Jets FC @ Bluetongue Central Coast Stadium
Perth Glory FC v Adelaide United FC @ Members Equity Stadium

A huge round this week. The opening fixture sees the Roar take on the Phoenix. The Phoenix are firing and would be pumped after their last weeks effort in pounding Perth 4 - 1. If Queensland drop this one, they will start to lose touch with the four. Wellington can move to second pending other reults. They have the best attack with 10, and the leakiest defence with 10. The Phoenix to beat Queensland 1 - 0.
Bling v Victory...hopefully they smack the crap out of each other. A spot in the four awaits the victor. Victory look the goods 2 - 1.
CCM v Newcastle, a top of the table clash. CCM will still be top no matter, but if Newcastle get the win will only be a point behind. I tipped Newcastle to get the spoon this year. They are proving me wrong. Newcastle to win 2-1.
Perth v Adelaide. Perth yet to win a game. Have only scored twice and conceded 7. Can't see it getting better for them Adelaide will fire up and they know if they get the points this week, they could find themselves back in the 4. Adelaide 3 - Perth 1

You watch the Victory, Sydney game SJABC? If so what did you reckon?

Corica sent off, Danny scoring in the 81st and the ref being escorted off by police. Interesting night.

Perth Glory v Sydney FC @ Members Equity Stadium

Sunday 14 October 2007
Newcastle Jets v Wellington Phoenix @ EnergyAustralia Stadium
Central Coast Mariners v Queensland Roar @ Bluetongue Central Coast Stadium

SJABC's round wrap...watch me get it wrong...again.
Tonight the Reds take on the ####. Adelaide are without the Olyroos in Djite (injured), Sarkies and Burns (Olyroos).
No Petta, no Valkanis, no Agostino = no Adelaide ? Bloody hope not, but Melbourne are the form team and are looking
good. Muscat is in doubt (please  ), whilst Brebner is out along with Broxham. A few changes for both teams, but
Melbournes fire power looks too good with Allsopp & Thompson. Melbourne 2 - Adelaide 0.
Perth Glory, who cares, they are shite and with five changes to the squad will still be shite..Sydney 2 - Perth 0.
Newcastle v the Shaggers, well anything can happen when Wellington play but probably not when they want it.
Newcastle are looking good, and should get a win here.Newcastle 1 - Wellington 0
The Mermaids run has slowed a tad, whilst Queensland are hot and cold, then cold then cold, then hot...who the F##K knows ?
I expect Queensland to get a point here so a boring 1 all draw...
Enjoy this weekend's football...

Well f##k me...Adelaide smashed Melbourne tonight. Made them look slow and second rate. With Burns, Djite & Sarkies missing along with Ago, Bobby & Micky, we basically had a seconds team running around...Will be tough for Viddie to include ANY of those boys into the starting line up next week...Melbourne didn't start the prick called Muscat, and that threw out their midfield. BUT if Adelaide can cover the loss of 6 first starters then surely Melbourne can cover the loss of 3 of theirs...
Ohh yeah the score 4 - 1...GO YOU REDS !
Melbourne O/G (Cornflake claimed it), Dodds x 2 & Pantelis. For scum Archibold 1

Adelaide far far too good tonight. Melbourne were bloody disapointing IMO.

They lacked leadership with the missing Muscat and lacked shape when under pressure. Defence was shocking and the midfield gave Archie and Danny no quality service. Was the first loss but we all know the rivalry between these two clubs so it wont go down well.

But the better side (Far better) won on the day. Too good Adelaide.

The other game last night was a entertaining draw between the Glory and Bling 3 all.
Perth have yet to have a win after 8 games
If they snag a win soon incredibly could only be a game out of the 4 !!
