I am glad United cashed in on their poor form by opening up a decent lead, we might need it.

Just a pity our match against them was postponed when they were in their slump.

Just because Chelsea have won their second game out of 10 doesn't tmean they are back. You could say that after maybe 3 or 4 wins in a row! It's like saying if Man UTD lose their first game then they will lose a few more. Man UTD and Arsenal are the 2 atm!

Not EPL related but not worth starting a thread about it.
Just wondering if Muscats latest "tackle" has made news at all in the UK ?

JTC ?

If it has I'm wondering what the reaction was/is.

woke up last night hearing about the lineswoman in the premeir league game of liverpool vs wolves about andy gray saying all this stuff about her not knowing what the offside rule is. i watched this game and she seemed to make the correct decisions during the game. All be it she was late for the walk out of the tunnel as she was the person they were all waiting on and when she arrived they all walked out.

but andy gray i think he has put his foot in on this one.

I haven't seen anything about it smiffy but then we get little to nothing on Aussie soccer. As a comp, it just doesn't register over here.

Gray and his co presenter Keyes have both been suspended by Skysports over the comments they made about women in football. They didn't realise thier mic's were still on at the time.

Gray said something about she was the reason why women shouldn't officiate at games as they just don't understand the offside rule.

I tend to agree with Gray about women officials but let's be honest who does understand the rule these days. And after some of the performances the likes of Webb have put in recently, it seems men shouldn't officiate either.

Just leave it up to Fergie to decide. Hang on we already do :D

Gray looks like a real old twat then because the female official got the call spot on.
She has rocketed through the leagues and is a highly rated linesperson.
Wouldn't have anything to do with Liverpool scoring the goal would it Andy ?

Anyway JTC, if you want to see Muscats latest effort, go to round 24 in the aussie football forum.

nice ;)

And on chelsea. i think they have started to recover and that was proved with the win over bolton. bolton controlled the game until drogbas goal went in. Will be goal of the season from him what a fantastic strike. Thank god Arsenal have played them now and wont see them again until next year if not in the FA cup. Look out guys. I hate to say it chelsea are on the way back

Berbatov gets one back with 20 to go.
I applaud blackpool for their play this season but fair dinkum their pitch is a cow paddock, absolute shocker.

Full Time
Blackpool 2
Manchester United 3
great comeback by the lads. To comeback from 2-0 down with 20 minutes left was fantastic. The game changed completely when hernandez came on for rooney, the little mexican had a blinder.
Now 5 points clear at top. They are the away points we were dropping earlier in season

Credit to Blackpool for putting up a good performance but bloody hell our away form has been gash this year. How we are 5 pts clear I do not know.

Bit of both.
United were ordinary first half but i thought we were not great at start of second half. Rooney was average and the game turned as soon as he was subbed for hernandez. He nearly scored straight away, and his energy and skill created the opener and he scored himself. Giggs also turned it on in second half. Thought blackpool deserved a point but they tried to sit on their lead.

Did Charlie Adam play ?

Liverpool have put a small bid in for his services and it's unsettled him to the point he's put in a transfer request.

Sad really how football sometimes works.
