BTW - if Bolton drop down, would that be the first time in recent years that a team playing in Europe during that season got relegated.

Don't forget Millwall DW. Won their European berth by playing in the FA Cup. Was in the CCC when they got relegated. (I Think)

It was a deliberate oversight on my behalf 8)

Who did Millwall beat to get into the FA Cup Final?? A certain team now managed by Roy Keane!! Probably the biggest disappointment I've ever had as a Sunderland fan.

I'm being a little presumptious of course. But it looks pretty good.

I'd say Fulham are definitely gone after tonight.

Brummies, Bolton, Reading still fighting to avoid that lost spot.

Still not sure between Fulham and Birmingham. They have to play each other yet and the result could be the decider

Big losers this week: Bolton, Birmingham, Fulham and Reading
Bigwinners this week: Sunderland, Wigan and Newcastle. All three look pretty safe now so it could well be any two from four. Bolton looking more and more fragile, with that turnover against Arsenal and this week a 4 - 0 drubbing at Villa, cofidence must be at an all time low. There main problem is, since they sold Anelka, you can't se where the goals are going to come from. some of their football isn't have bad.

As for the rest, there mightjust be enough daylight between Reading and the rest. Again they play some good football one week then utter garbage the next. Maybe one for the drop next season. Fulham have been flirting with the drop for a year or two, that could be to their advantage in the run in particularly in the 6 pointer with Birmingham. Brum will be nervous as hell and the their lettle lift when the new man came in has long since past.

Total predicted points

Newcastle 41
Wigan 40
Sunderland 39
Reading 35
Fulham 32
---------------
Birmingham 30
Bolton 30
Derby

Off topic I know but here is a link to the FC United website (or FC United of Manchester as there real name)

http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/

Notice the prices $16.00 for adults, for a team playing 3 divisions below the league

Exactly RM. I sometimes want to  when I read people complaining about the price of SANFL. $9.00 or whatever it is, is bloody good value for around 2 hours entertainment. Here you get 40 - 45 minutes of play and 40 - 45 minutes of stoppages. At Burnley it will cost you around $50.00 a game.

I too get sooo annoyed with people moaning about the Price of a Port AFL Season ticket. It seriously costs less than $200.

A mate who's a mad Spurs fan has a season ticket including the Cup guarantee scheme spends just over 700 pounds per year. That's over $1500 AUD.

Well it hots up lads...

Fulham won away for the first time since 1932
2 nil over Reading, Bolton won 1 nil over Tin of Spam.

The Brummys drew with the Toffs and Boro got a point from the
Spurs. Man City defeated the Keane mob...

So...IIRC...Birmingham on 31, Bolton on 29 and Fulham now on 27.
Reading in the firing line....

Will be interesting. Await JTC report as I have had too much red wine and
am off to bed !!

Big wins to Bolton and (at last an away win) Fulham.
A point is a point but at this stage of the proceedings Brum really needed more.
Toons took a point and will be happy with that.
Big losers, Sunderland and Reading but both should have enough daylight now to survive.

In the forecast, Bolton move out of the bottom three based on that unexpected win and swap places with Fulham. Great win to the Cottagers and thouroughly deserved. I have never seen a game where one team hit the woodwork so many times, but the win was predicted so no gain to Fulham.

Total predicted points

Newcastle 42
Wigan 40
Sunderland 38
Reading 35
Bolton 33
---------------
Fulham 32
Birmingham 30
Derby

Wigan get a creditable draw at Chelski and put a big dent in the Chavs title challenge.

Lampard pulled out of the starting 11 just before the kick off. Reason, personal reasons ?????

Big big big win to the Trotters makes the battle even more interesting.
Wigan getting the draw should see them ok now whilst disasterous losses to Fulham (really should have done better against a weakened Liverpool outfit) and Reading who can't buy a win.

Realy comes down to any 2 from 4 though. Brum have a big day out against local rivals Villa and you can bet that the Villans won't be doing the Blues any favours today.
The other derby pitches the Toons against the Cats and one feels that a draw would suit both sides. 37 pts should be more than enough this year ?

Total predicted points

Newcastle 42
Wigan 39
Sunderland 38
Bolton 36
Reading 35

Fulham 31
Birmingham 30

Should that not be "seeya next year Brum"

Demoralising defeat for BCFC. In so many ways, against the old enemy, losing 5 -1, keeps them in the bottom 3.
