Question... where have they got all of the money from?
Imo they wont do that good next season.. even with the big names. They have had some of the best players over the last 10 years and havent been a hugely dominant force in world football, i reckon it will stay the same for a while.

answer dont know where the cash has come from, but they already have diarra and robben, they will probley be have to seal alot of the players, probley the under preforming ones. they have tried this in the past and failed but if it works out they will be awesome.

I think you mean the Champions League final unknown? He certainly was trying to win it off his own boot, that's for sure! Which is understandable. If I read how good I was every day of my life, it would affect how I go about things!

England international Ashley Young is a shock target for Spurs, it has emerged. Young would not come cheap and Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is believed to be willing to offer both Jermaine Jenas and David Bentley in return for the PFA Young Player of the Year. Tottenham are believed to have tried to hijack Man City's bid for Gareth Barry at the eleventh hour but failed, though it emerged during talks that Martin O'Neill is an admirer of Jenas. Spurs are unlikely to have the funds to sign Young in a straight cash deal but believe a swap worth around 20 million will be enough to persuade O'Neill to sell. They are willing to offer the winger a big pay rise to move to White Hart Lane. The former Watford player has only recently signed a bumper four year deal worth around 40,000 a week.
Who? - Glen Johnson - Speculation
Where is he? - Portsmouth
Who is he linked with? - Liverpool
Rafa Benitez is detemined to secure the finances he needs to sign Portsmouth right-back Glen Johnson. A number of European clubs have enquired about Johnson, including Bayern Munich, but it is believed that Chelsea and Liverppol will battle it out for his signature. The Blues have already had a 17 million bid accepted for the England right-back but Liverpool are ready to hijack that bid with one of their own. Johnson has already endured a frustrating spell at Stamford Bridge and is believed to favour a move to Merseyside as a result. The main stumbling block for Benitez is a lack of funds, though the Spaniard is hoping to use money that Pompey still owe for Peter Crouch's move last summer to top-up any funds he has available. Johnson's Fratton Park team-mate Sylvain Distin is also the subject of a bid from Liverpool
Who? - Robbie Keane - Speculation
Where is he? - Tottenham Hotspur
Who is he linked with? - Sunderland
Sunderland are planning a surprise swoop for Tottenham striker Robbie Keane. The North East club are looking to tempt the Republic of Ireland international in to leaving White Hart Lane for the second time in year. The Black Cats are believed to be ready to bid 15 million for the striker, after they have wrapped up a 10 million deal for Keane's Tottenham team-mate Darren Bent. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is planning a major overhaul of his squad and the funds being offered by Sunderland could be tempt him to sell so he can secure his own targets. Keane, 28, is close to the Wearsiders' chairman Niall Quinn from their time playing for Ireland together and this could sway Keane into making Sunderland his seventh club.
Who? - Samuel Eto'o - Speculation
Where is he? - Barcelona
Who is he linked with? - Manchester United
Man United will try to fill the huge void left by Cristiano Ronaldo by signing Barcelona striker Smauel Eto'o. Sir Alex Ferguson is known to be keen on a number of forwards and wants to sign one of his targets as soon as possible, particularly with Carlos Tevez's future still very much in the air. The Cameroon striker is also believed to be a target to Man City but he would be more likely to choose the Champions League football offered by United than the money of their near neighbours. Eto'o, 28, had a superb season for La Liga champions Barcelona, scoring 34 goals, including one against United in the Champions League final last month. City had, had a 25 million bid for the striker turned down in January but United will be confident of securing their man for less as he enters the final year of his deal at the Nou Camp. The Spanish giants are thought to be keen to cash in rather than risk losing Eto'o on a free transfer next season.
Who? - Sergio Aguero - Speculation
Where is he? - Atletico Madrid
Who is he linked with? - Chelsea
Atletico Madrid chief Enrique Cerezo has revealed that the club is ready to listen to offers for Sergio Aguero. Chelsea are thought to be interested in the Argentine striker with Carlo Ancelotti looking to freshen up his aging squad. Cerezo told French radio station RMC: "We will open talks if an interesting offer is made. Many people have spoken about Aguero but the truth is that Atletico have not been contacted by any suitor." 21-year-old Aguero signed for Atletico from Independiente in 2006 and is a regular in the Argentina national squad.
Who? - Luis Antonio Valencia - Speculation
Where is he? - Wigan Athletic
Who is he linked with? - Manchester United
Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan has confirmed that Manchester United have contacted the club over Luis Antonio Valencia. United are widely-tipped to use some of the money from Cristiano Ronaldo's imminent move to Real Madrid to buy the Ecuador international, and Whelan believes a deal could be done within the next two weeks. Whelan explained: "Things will develop further over the next seven to 14 days. [United manager] Sir Alex [Ferguson] makes his move when he deems necessary. United have been in touch, and negotiations will be in place. They have expressed interest in the past three months. I think they were waiting to see if Ronaldo would go to Real [Madrid]. There is no pressure on me to sell [Valencia]. I think he is a brilliant player. Valencia has got ambition. It's hard to stop footballers reaching the top of the ladder. I won't stand in the way if he wants to move to Manchester United. If he wants it, and the fee is good, then the deal will be done."
Who? - Ezequiel Lavezzi - Speculation
Where is he? - Napoli
Who is he linked with? - Liverpool
The future of reported Liverpool target Ezequiel Lavezzi will become clearer next week, according to FIFA agent Pablo Cosentino. It has been reported that the Argentine striker has fled to his home country after falling out with Napoli over a new contract, and Liverpool are reportedly waiting in the wings. "I have spoken with both Napoli and Liverpool," Cosentino told Roma newspaper. "Yesterday, [Alejandro] Mazzoni [Lavezzi's representative] came to my office and we evaluated the situation. I have heard from both clubs, with whom I have an excellent relationship. I can't say more for the time being, even because things have gone too far in this affair. It's now time to reflect and everything will be more clear next week."
