Will do r w.

Think part of the problem will be the position WHU are in. They are still waiting on the arbitration board decision regarding the Tvez and Mascherana (speeling) ownership affair. They got fined £5.5m but sooky Sheff U, who got relegated have brought an action saying that the Hammers should have been docked points. If, in the unlikely event this happens, WHU will be relegated and Sheff will re reinstated into the EPL.

Suspect some players are reluctant to move to a club that could be playing in the CCC next year. It will all be over by the end of the month as this is when the board will announce their decision. Things might start to happen then.

They did get turned down by Darren Bent earlier this month.

There is usually a rush just before the season gets under way because of the transfer window closing and clubs don't want to get caught short until it reopens again in January.

Those Spammers won't attract anyone decent. Apologies to Lucas cos he's a gun and a great bloke, but realistically, all he is going to get from those eastenders is a PHAT paycheck. I think Tevez will be elswhere come August too.

PPS COYS!!! Love your form. The world needs more Spurs supporters! Will post a pic of White Hart Lane when I can manage to get a ticket. Also, check out http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk - it's a Spurs website that's filled with absolute garbage, but some of it's entertaining!

Finally, I can get on and say SUCKED IN FRANCENAL!! Enjoy your voyage on the Titanic this year!!!! Thierry "Leonardo Decaprio" Henry knew just when to jump of that sinking ship!!!!!

As for why Barc need Henry is beyond me. Crazy!

Sven Goran Erikson has signed as Coach of Man City and is expected to lure Shuan Wrigt Phillips to Manchester.

JTC - I hope you are safe and well and dry mate! Hope we hear from you soon!

For those who don't know, the north of england has had torrential rain and severe flooding with a number of clubs' stadiums being badly affected. Worst hit is Sheffield Wednesdays' Hillsborough which is still under about 1.5m of water. Good old English summer I guess!

Wenger has been a brilliant Manager and has an exceptional eye for talent ... I wouldn't be writing the Gunners off just yet (although I'd luv to see them take a slide).

We actually saw glimpses of their devastating potential last season, a season which saw them Henry-less for a great part.

Tonights latest.

Sunderland have withdrawn their offer for PNE striker Nugent. Apparently they agreed a £7m fee with PNE but Nugent has stalled on personal terms. Keano has pulled out, not one full of patience he is believed to be upset that Nugent went on holiday and didn't contact the club to discuss a contract. General feelings are that if sunderland aren't Nugents 1st choice then they don't want him. Personally, I will be suprised if anyone else will be willing to part with £7m for Nugent, he is untested in the EPL and that price tag is a bit rich. Apparently Harry Redknapp is in discussions with PNE now ??. Everton, Nugents preferred club seem unwilling to part with more than £4m for him.
