Always a danger when you play your youth academy MT79. Underestimated the Sky Blues big style.

Still, Fergie can pull out to old adage, "We can concentrate on the league now"

Burnley 1 - 1 Eagles

One of the most inept refereeing performances I have ever seen

Dickov is a complete prick

Birmingham 0 - 1 Man U Ronaldo.
Brum so unlucky not to get at least a point out of this game. They completely dominated Man U in the 1st half and had so many chances. Rooney is shit these days. Scholes is geting too slow with age
Cats 1 - 2 b4st4rds
2 quick goals at the start of the 2nd half finished this game off. Both came from poor defensive mistakes. Cats got on back on the 90th minute in front of a less than 1/2 full Stadium of Light. Never understood fans who leave early cos their team is losing.
Pompey 7 - 4 Reading (Yes that is right Seven - Four)
Premiership record went today. too many scorese to remember, but what a great game of footy. (aka soccer)
Chelski 0 - 0 Fulham
Another great performance by Fulham and could have easliy won it at the death. Camara had the best chance of the game but just couldn't control the ball (CCC experience not enough when the real pressure is on) Shovechenko a failure again and taken off after 57 mins. Surely his days are numbered. Terry off with a fractured cheek bone. disgracefull elbow that went unpunished. Drogba sent off, 2 yellow cards one for dissent and one for a karate kick.
Man City 3 - 1 Newcastle
Geez, city are looking good. Magpies took the lead but City just overwhelmed them. 1st time City has won aftere coming from behind on 3 years. In 3rd place and rightfully so.
Wigan 0- 1 Liverpool
Torres got the nod but Liverpool were crap. wigan very unlucky not the get something out of thtis. Bent scored but ruled offside when he was clearly 5 yards onside (Crap linesman) and to be honest, I can't see Liverpool being a serious challenge to Man U or Arsenal.
Derby 1 - 1 Bolton
4 games without a loss to Sammy Lee's side but too many draws in there. They would be out for the count but for the 5 goals from Anelka so far. This was a battle of the bottom and Derby really needed to win. Unlucky and missed a great chance right at the death.

More later. North is on.

What a game......Spurs 4 - Villa 4.

Villa went 4-1 up early in the second half and it looked like the 2007 AFL GF all over again (much to my dismay :( ). But Spurs, celebrating their 125th Anniversary fought back with one of the most remarkable performances I've seen.

Spurs were terrible early. Robinson was Villas best player gifting them 2 goals from piss-poor keeping.

Villa fans sang happy birthday and plenty of Spurs "fans" left at 4-1 down. Sucked in to both!

Chimbonda scrambled a goal to bring us back to 4-2 and when Darren Bent was awarded a penalty for probably the most ridiculous challenge you'd EVER see from Harewood, Keano converted and there was hope. Spurs pressed on and tried to get through the 'parked bus', and in the 91st minute, Kaboul slammed a rebounded ball into the back of the net creating pandemonium at White Hart Lane.

Spurs had a slim chance to win it in the final few seconds in a goal line scramble but Defoe was caught offside.

Brilliant entertainment from what could only be described as a comedy of errors. If ever a draw is a good result for a home game, tonight was it. COYS!

I'd say entertaining game, but not really good. But agree that Spurs were VERY lucky to get anything out of this game.

Tips for Gunners v Stau tonight?

Nah couldn;t get a ticket mate. Spurs were celebrating their 125th year anniversary, so it was a packed house. They did get value for money - except for those pea hearted tools that left when it was 4-1!!!

I went to Spurs v Fulham when Spurs were up 3-1 and drew 3 all. While it was a shit result, it was one of the most entertaining games I've ever seen.

I tried to find a way to get to Liverpool for Sunday but no go. Too hard with work. Will definitely get up to the Kop at some stage though.

I'm looking to get to a few more games this seson. At the moment:

Spurs v City at home on Dec 8
Le Arse v Spurs at their plastic stadium on Dec 22, although this will be relying on a scalper and holding my excitement if Spurs score so I don't get my face beaten in!!

Other than that, I'm waiting for the FA cup draw and some European matches for some midweek sessions. I'm keen as to see the home games against Manure and Liverpool, but that will depend on my Spurs mate getting me extra tickets.

If you're ever over here, do whatever you can to see a game (Fulham is good as it usually goes on general sale) because the atmosphere is awesome (although Fulham is not so great). Our hills lads could learn a thing or two from some of the smart-ass remarks I've heard bandied about!

Yeah, honestly can't see anything but a Liverpool win, but Spurs being the way they are, may just rip something from nowhere and get up.

I just wanted to get up and see Anfield and hear the Kop sing 'you'll never walk alone'.

Yeah fair call. wouldn't be too many sporting experiences rate up with that one I don't think ... FWIW Im worried about Spurs this weekend - We haven't being play well of late and Spurs are capable at both ends of the scale, ie, losing to minnows or surprising the higher placed teams!!

Did you see the Reading v Portsmouth game? Absolute cracker!

IMO, the best teams to watch are Fulham, Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Le Arse (It hurts to say it but they're a great side) and of course Spurs.

You generally get goals with that lot.

The defending was absolute rubbish in that Pompey - Reading game but it was amazing to see so many goals. I was watching it with a mate and I remember towards the end of the game we ducked outside for a smoke and missed two goals which made it 6-4 or something, it was incredible.

Watching some live CCC Sheffield U v Bristol City.

Carney is having a few nice touches for the Blades and is definitely not out of his league.

Anyhoo,

Manure 4 - Wigan 0.

0-0 at half time and Manu in all sorts with injuries and just playing rubbish, but then the floodgates opened with Tevez, Ronaldo with a brace and Rooney all scoring. Despite being a ballbag, Rooney was very good as was Tevez.

Villa 1 - Spam 0

Gardener scored from a free kick which was helped by a deflection.

Common You Spurs tomorrow against the Reds at Anfield. Both teams trying to find form. The only real difference is that Liverpool have been getting results despite playing below par. Hopefully that changes tomorrow
Just wish I could bloody see the game. Stupid Sky and Setanta.
