was good progress last time we were in Sydney, 1st time Adelaide had taken a point over there, so hopefully we can go all the way and take 3 this time round.

You lucky, lucky bastard!

Is that the Aussie bar on Bang La Road? Great pub, good food and one of the only place you can find reasonably clean toilets outside your hotel in Patong. I was there in May and watched the Powaa get pumped by the Cats at AAMI. That was nothing compared to 4 weeks ago :( :( :( .

Enjoy the $1 beers! But beware the she-males on the prowl!

Go U Reds.

Whats the thoughts of the Mariners effectively having John Aloisi play for them without having to pay for his services. From what I understand he is to be payed his half a milloion outside the salary cap by Singo..why have a cap??

Sydney FC must hold Kosi in very high regard. To sign a coach that will not be able to coach from the sidelines for the next four weeks. How long will he stay on the revolving coaching chair at Sydney? You cant even say that you win and youll stay for sure.

Its a loophole in the salary cap rules, John is replacing an injured player for the rest of the season and therefore under the rules from the FFA his salary is not included. It seems the FFA are cool with this at the moment and the other clubs must be fuming at this but at this stage they can do the same thing

Round 12
Friday 9 November 2007
Newcastle Jets FC 1 lost Perth Glory FC 4 @ EnergyAustralia Stadium

Saturday 10 November 2007
Central Coast Mariners FC v Adelaide United FC @ Bluetongue Central Coast Stadium
Melbourne Victory FC v Sydney FC @ Telstra Dome

Sunday 11 November 2007
Queensland Roar FC v Wellington Phoenix FC @ Suncorp Stadium

Sorry better late then never. Also apologies for the slackness in keeping this thread up to date but I have been awol for three weeks !

First off...WELL Perth Glory have FINALLY won a game and in emphatic style, a 4 - 1 flogging of Newcastle IN Newcastle.
Scorers for Perth A. Durante (og),J. Simpson & N. Rukavytsya with 2. For the Jets J.Griffiths found the net.

CCM and Adelaide clash on Saturday, should be a ripper ! CCM have a star studded line up with Aloisi, Vidmar, Heffernan & Gumprecht to name a few. whilst Adelaide regain Diego lose Salley & Agostino makes his long awaited return. In a surprising move BENNY MOORE is the reserve keeper.
Benny has only recently retired from the Bays  .MY TIP CCM 2 - ADELAIDE 1

The #### take on Bling at the Dome. No DOOM theory here. Sydney to keep Kossies run with going with a victory. Melbourne have a few outs in the defence due to suspensions, and that will open up the door for Juninho to give some assists, and Corica to say thank you very much. Expect a HUGE crowd, expect alot of flares and expect a sydney win. MY TIP BLING 3 - #### 0

The Roar take on the Phoenix in the last fixture. Queensland would be buoyed ny the 1 nil win over Adelaide last week. In all hind site it was a shit house boring game and I fell asleep and slipped off my plastic chair and slid down the stairs at Hindmarsh. Queensland don't play to win, they play to bore the opposition to death and then try to sneak a opportunist goal in. However the Land of the Long white cloud will not be happy as I can see the Roar winning by 1. MY TIP QUEENSLAND 1 WELLINGTON 0

FOOTNOTE:
The ninth side A-League will be based at the Gold Coast, the franchise will move into the stadium that the Titans used this year as the Titans are moving to a bigger home...

Central Coast are my team these days, with Mori there early in the season and John Aloisi there now its definately the team for South Australians BUT without Petrovski up front I think they might go down in this game, hope not though.
