The report said it was a gale force breeze, when it bounced you could see the wind grab the ball. Would of beaten any keeper in the world.

That is an incredible goal.

As if he just turned his back though, he had his one chance to run off and do a crazy celebration!

If you wont spend money its time for you to go and we need to bring in someone who will spend.
Wonder what Jose is up to at the moment?

Don't lose faith in the great man Jim. After what he has done and achieved over his career not only at United but at Aberdeen aswell,he will continue to get the job done. I dont think our squad is all that bad we only really need that creative midfilder to replace Scholsey. We have been very unlucky with some big injuries this year aswell which haven't helped. The team is very young and will only develop with time. I still think this squad is good enough to win the league this season.

I love the great man, he has done so much for my beloved Aberdeen and United.
Just cant believe we didnt sign Sneijder.
Not sure on the strength of the squad, not convinced on Anderson, Young is ordinary, Park and Carrick average at best.
Heard the rift with Rooney is quite bad, Fergie always gets his way so i think Rooney will be gone soon.

Jim I do agree with you on Anderson, as for Young I think he showed alot of promise at the start of the season and has gone of the boil a bit but injury hasn't helped him. Think he will have a big future ahead of him for both club and country I do rate him. As for Carrick I think he has really stepped up this season now that he is fit again and rate him as one of our best on current form. Would agree with you on Park. One who has been disapointing for me is Hernandez after comming off such a big debut season. Would have both Welbeck and the sulking Bulgarian Berba starting before him.

Gotta give kudos to Howard for that really. He could have jumped around like a nutter, but acted like a pro.

Paul Scholes looks set to come out of retirement.
With the club struck by injuries and not spending in January, Fergie has asked Scholes to return to action. Its believed his comeback match will be against Arsenal.

Are fergie and Wenger like best buddies now??

Your doing what we are doing....asking has beens to come back. Fantastic players for both our clubs - yours scholes, ours viera, campbell and henry but surely there is younger talent out there. Stupid asking old players to return to action IMO.

Henry is my idol, but like i keep saying Wenger is only doing it to keep the fans happy because he doesnt want to spend money AGAIN. fergie is doing the same.

gone from years ago when these 2 managers couldnt stand the sight of each other.....

Yeah ive been saying for a while both managers have similar traits.
January is a bad window to try and get quality players with most involved with CL. We wont waste money paying over the top prices for an average player, so cant see us being active in January market. Injuries are killing us but not sure bringing back a 37yo is the answer. Reckon we will stick with what we have got and wait to end of season to bring in 1 or 2 big names. Sneijder and Modric would still be my top picks

This has to be a wind up right?
Surely there's a reasonable player around the traps who could come in and do a job?
I hope Scholes does come back in time for the trip to the Lane. He'll be torn a fresh one by Bale, Lennon, Modric, Parker and Sandro.

Of course Modric will put on a good show, needs to impress his potential new manager for next season ;)

Hahaha. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him at Old Toilet next year.
Also wouldn't be surprised to see him end up like the once great Dimitar count sulkula. In and out of the team. Struggling to find his best between spells on the sideline.

Modric is a star, but he is a frontrunner. When things get tough, Modders goes missing, especially away from home.

Id much rather Sneijder but his wage bills are a bit of a restriction. I can actually see Modric as a chav next season

I'd rather sneijder too.

I doubt Modric will go to the Chavs if they're not playing UCL.

Chavski have targeted him for a while. Maybe Roman's money might convince him to play a season without CL.
Hate to see him go to that scummy mob
