EPL Tipping

Postby JK » Fri Aug 15, 2008 10:23 am

Alright lads, not a formal comp by any stretch of the imagination, but thought we could all throw our week by week tips in here for the EPL ... 1 Point for every correct result selected, and a bonus point if you hit the score correctly.

Ie, Arsenal v West Brom finishes 2-0 to Le Arse and you tipped them to win 3-1, you get 1 point for the win ... If you selected them 2-0 you score 1 for the win and win for tipping correct scoreline.

Johnnyboy and I got a little side bet going, and I thoroughly encourage others to set themselves up just as embarressingly!

Back soon with my tips ...

Round 2 of the EPL:

Saturday, 23 August 2008
Blackburn v Hull, 15:00 2-1 Ince ahs done wonders with his squad and will take points from Hull
Fulham v Arsenal, 17:30 0-2 Fulham have a shocking record against the scum, which will not change tomorrow.
Liverpool v Middlesbrough, 15:00 1-0 Robbie Keane to prevent the Reds scoring more than 1 again!
Newcastle v Bolton, 15:00 1-1 Same old from Geordie land this week. Mediocrity will return.
Stoke v Aston Villa, 15:00 0-3 The Agbonlahor show will rip Stoke a new one.
Tottenham v Sunderland, 15:00 - 2-0 FFS better have a clean sheet win.
West Brom v Everton, 15:00 2-2 I like the way Mowbray wants to play attacking football. Hope they steal at least a point from the Toffees.

Sunday, 24 August 2008
Man City v West Ham, 16:00 2-1 Probably the most uninteresting match in history.
Wigan v Chelsea, 13:30 0-2 Only thing saving it from getting ugly will be that it's at the JJB.

Monday, 25 August 2008
Portsmouth v Man Utd, 20:00 1-1 Man U are struggling a bit and will drop points here IMO, but they'll fire again when Ronnie is back and Rooney remembers that he's actually a good player.
