Carling Cup. Now it gets interesting

Postby johntheclaret » Tue Sep 30, 2008 7:37 am

Round 4 is upon us and the last sixteen will tough it out for a quarter final berth.

Here are the fixtures

Tuesday 04th November 2008
Carling Cup Third Round

Brighton v Derby 19.45

Tuesday 11th November 2008
Carling Cup Fourth Round

Arsenal v Wigan Athletic 19.45
Brighton/Derby v Leeds Utd 19.45
Chelsea v Burnley 19.45
Man Utd v QPR 19.45
Stoke City v Rotherham 19.45
Sunderland v Blackburn 19.45
Swansea City v Watford 19.45
Tottenham v Liverpool 19.45

Some interesting match ups there with holders Spurs taking on the most successful League Cup side in football history. another couple of tough match up are The Cats who take on b4st4rds and Leeds who will visit either the in form Rams or shock victors over Man City, Brighton.

Both Arsenal and Man U should progress comfortably but Chelski have a much tougher home game against the mighty Clarets who will be fired up to break that record unbeaten home sequence

"If he scores here I'm having a pill" - that was probably one of the funniest things I've heard from a spectator. Pushing boundaries, but my God that was hilarious!
