It will be interesting to see how close the SportsMail is with this one
The January sales: Sportsmail's guide to who the clubs want ... and who they will get
For Premier League bosses and chairmen it's that busy time of year again. The top targets have been identified and the vultures are already circling their prey.
ArsenalWhat they want: Andrei Arshavin and a centre-half to replace William Gallas
What they'll get: Arshavin will come as long as terms can be agreed, but where is the centre-half of Gallas's quality? Not out there, so they may persist with their sulky former captain.
Aston Villa What they want: A big centre-forward to make up for the absences of John Carew. Emile Heskey fits the bill.
What they'll get: Martin O'Neill has a good chance of landing his former Leicester protege if Wigan agree to sell.
Blackburn Rovers What they want: A whole new team for Big Sam. And Roque Santa Cruz out of the club as soon as possible.
What they'll get: Kevin Davies, El-Hadji Diouf, Nicky Butt.
Bolton What they want: Midfielder Axel Witsel from Belgian club Standard Liege and Newcastle's Nicky Butt.
What they'll get: Hearts midfielder Laryea Kingston.
Chelsea What they want: Luiz Scolari wants a South American striker, preferably ?25m Luis Fabiano from Sevilla. Roman Abramovich wants managers to stop wasting his money.
What they'll get: A striker for less than ?10m, like Tuncay from Middlesbrough if they are lucky; Wagner Love on loan from CSKA if they're not, and a lot of grumbling from the boss's office.
Everton What they want: An Arab takeover so they can get spending and a striker. Any striker.
What they'll get: Jo from Manchester City or Brazilian Kleber from Palmeiras.
Fulham What they want: Jimmy Bullard on a long-term deal, Brede Hangeland to stay and Steve Finnan back from Espanyol.
What they'll get: South African midfielder Kagiso Dikgacoi and endless haggling from Bullard followed by an exit to Tottenham, either now or in June.
Hull What they want: FC Twente winger Eljero Elia, full-back cover and Michael Turner to sign a new contract.
What they'll get: Kamil Zayatte turning his loan deal from Swiss club Young Boys of Berne into a permanent move and Ryan Taylor from Wigan.
LiverpoolWhat they want: Jermaine Pennant to agree a deal with Real Madrid so they can raise the money to buy another winger-striker.
What they'll get: A row between Rafa Benitez and the Americans over transfer cash followed by a resignation threat.
Manchester City What they want: The world and his wife: Gianluigi Buffon, Kaka, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Roque Santa Cruz.
What they'll get: Craig Bellamy, if they can fight off Tottenham, and Spain star Marcos Senna from Villarreal, if they agree to double his wages. Wayne Bridge, if they can persuade him to leave London.
Manchester United What they want: Not a lot. Carlos Tevez to re-sign, cover for Owen Hargreaves.
What they'll get: Serb teenagers Zoran Tosic and Adam Ljajic from Partizan Belgrade, signings for the long term.
Middlesbrough What they want: A central midfielder. Stewart Downing, Tuncay and Mido to stay at the Riverside, at least until the summer.
What they'll get: James Harper from Reading, if he can be convinced Boro will stay up. Money to spend on a striker if Tuncay or Mido go.
NewcastleWhat they want: Michael Owen, Shola Ameobi and Nicky Butt to sign new contracts and a left-back, preferably Wayne Bridge if he will leave Chelsea.
What they'll get: More instability from owner Mike Ashley, who doesn't want to pay Bridge's wages.
PortsmouthWhat they want: The planet to stop spinning now and time to be frozen. That way Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch, Glen Johnson and David James all stay so the club's slide down the table ends.
What they'll get: The ?20m they received from Madrid for Lassana Diarra to be swallowed up in players' wages and a desperate search for cheap replacements.
StokeWhat they want: Cardiff midfielder Joe Ledley, Derby midfielder Miles Addison, Villa striker Marlon Harewood.
What they'll get: A long, hard struggle to convince the best Championship players that they're not heading back down that way.
SunderlandWhat they want? A new centre-half.
What they'll get: Ricky Sbragia may have been named manager, but don't be surprised if he is then replaced by a continental coach who can make the big signings come the summer.
TottenhamWhat they want: James, Johnson, Crouch and Defoe plus Bullard and Downing.
What they'll get: Craig Bellamy, if they pay more than City. Sell Giovanni Dos Santos, Kevin-Prince Boateng and David Bentley to pay for the others.
West BromWhat they want: Experienced Premier League players to prevent an inevitable relegation.
What they'll get: Arsenal striker Jay Simpson, 20, on loan.
West HamWhat they want: A new owner to halt a firesale. If not, a striker.
What they'll get: Bellamy and Matthew Upson will be sold but striker Giampaolo Pazzini will sign from Fiorentina.
WiganWhat they want: Amr Zaki and Antonio Valencia to stay.
What they'll get: Colombian striker Hugo Rodallega to replace Heskey when he goes.
I found b4st4rds wish list the most entertaining.
