Dont want him and dont need him, surely there are better strikers that chelsea can get than him.

true, he can work magic but gets frustrated sometimes when things dont go his way. think it all started last season when he said he wanted out to Inter Milan. Since then most of the gunner supporters havent taken a liking to him.

I heard it was Milan (can't remember which) but both Adebayor and Wenger have come out and said he is staying next year and looking forward to it.

Cheers WSC. I heard that Anchelliti might be on his way to Chelski. Apparently he has even said in his autobiography that he was Chelski manager (on paper) ?

NOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOO!!! My heart may of just sank lower then when I found out Jose was leaving Chelsea or Sven was leaving Lazio, I really dont think much of Ancelotti. I personal think chelsea should go for Roberto Mancini or Frank Rijkaard

I posted on the Liverpool thread, but it'd be good to continue the 08/09 thread on as the 09/10 thread. Just need the titles changed.

That way you can keep continuity over seasons.....

That would never work for a Tottenham thread. We need new players, new manager, new hope, new disappointment each year. Don't take that from us. ;) ;)

Instead of changing the years, just call it "Tottenham, still shit no matter what the year" ;)

yeah it was milan last year he wanted to go which in turn made some of the fans turn on him and boo him at games . I want him to stay and improve the clubs position.

Please let this be true:

http://fourfourtwo.com/news/england/32006/default.aspx

Zenit St Petersburg are reportedly ready to offer Arsenal forward Andrey Arshavin a lucrative offer to return home to Russia, less than six months after arriving in England.
The Russian international joined the Emirates Stadium outfit at the beginning of February for £15 million, and enjoyed an explosive start to his Premier League career, netting six league goals in 12 appearances, including four against Liverpool at Anfield.
However, the diminutive playmaker has recently revealed his shock and horror at the hefty amount of tax being deducted from his salary.
And the news is thought to have prompted the 28-year-old's former club - who are backed by the largest oil and gas company in the world - to plot a big-money move to lure Arshavin back to his homeland.
Zenit are currently languishing in sixth place in the Russian Premier League, losing three of their last five matches.

"The bosses of the St Petersburg club intend to make Andrey a very thoroughly thought out offer which can motivate him to return home," said Sport Den Za Dnem, quoting a source.
"He has started his career at Arsenal brilliantly but that is not an obstacle for negotiations - on the contrary money is a good reason to begin them. Zenit need reinforcements."
Zenit St Petersburg have refused to comment on the speculation.

I will seriously wet myself with excitement if the only shining light of Arsenal's season buggers back off to his old club for silly money. Unlikely, but there will be sex wee's if it happens!
