MAN CITY BOSS HUGHES EYES TEVEZ DEAL

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has confirmed his interest in signing Carlos Tevez.

Tevez's future has been the subject of constant speculation with his two-year loan deal at Manchester United expiring at the end of the campaign.

United have first refusal on signing the striker, but they are thought to be reluctant to pay the price-tag on the Argentina international's head.

Reports suggest City are ready to meet the asking price for the former West Ham forward and Hughes admits he would be interested in signing Tevez if he becomes available.

"Carlos Tevez is a good player. If good players become available then obviously every manager is interested," Hughes told Sky Sports News.

But if they buy every great or better player then wheres the competition going to come from and where the fun in the game? if they buy all great players and then dont loose a game from now until the next century (example) then its no fun. It won't happen due to the issues I've outlined with Citeh in their old thread.

Not all big players will want to play for a club that's had no success whatsoever in it's entire history.

As for fun in the competition Bully, there ain't any. It's a business and a bloody big one at that. Just got the figures for 2007/08 season and total revenues for the EPL in that season alone was............. $3.9 Billion.

That's and incredible $11,403.00 per minute or $190.05 for every second of EPL football played.

No wonder so many top flight clubs have incurred huge debts over the past decade or so when many would be simpy trying to keep up with the spending of other clubs. Transfer talk of these type of wages doesn't help their cause as it drives up the demands of everyone elase in the EPL.

Spot on. Terry makes it clear that he doesn't want to leave Chelsea but he will wait until he sees what they can offer. Abramovich offers him another £10k per week, but his silence says it all, so Abramovich ups the anti by £25k a week. So Terry decides to accept this and then goes on to say that he never had any plans to leave the bullshitter.

What's worse is that he was happy to accept his 5 year, £149k per week deal only a few months ago, and signed on the dotted line. So what did he have to think about. Talk about loyalty, I call it downright greed;.

What a knob! What was he thinking? If one of them had jumped the fence and clocked him one, no jury could find him guilty. The exact reason why it's so frowned upon, it's very likely to happen. How about all the bobbies seperating the two sets of supporters? Why can't we all just get along???
