next year in the Championship? ;)

hey hey hey DA, come on now thats not very nice

Brum needs a thread!!!
Bit harsh on my part the above posts from the epl thread.
Brums new owner Carson Yeung has promised £50m in transfer funds for Jan. That's a decent sum and could secure enough decent players to see the brum challenge for a Europa spot.
David bentley and pavlyuchenko are up for sale and 50m would just about cover them!!!!

well you have 1/2 jinxed them

they were undefeated in the last 5 games before everton, but luckily for you the unbeaten run continues ;)

It's the 50 mil that will bugger them. Two or three stars coming in will disrupt the dressing room, the style of play and the results. They will take thier huge paypackets and sod off back to Europe (unlike Birmingham)

Thank you Birmingham
Thank you Kevin Phillips. It took a 36 year old to come on and grab two goals to sink Wolves.
Wolves stay in the relegation spot. :D

I think that is 1 defeat in 17 league and cup games now for The Blues and an elp record today as they fielded an unchanged side for the twelfth consecutive game. Who said rotation was the answer ?

"Elp record" - extended long play? :)

The Blues certainly are having a great season and are fully deserving of their own thread. Full marks to Alex McLeish (a Fergie alumnus) for welding no-names, "difficult" players (Bowyer, Ferguson) and an inspired loan signing (Hart) into a force and making St Andrews a difficult place to go.

Bloke I work with used to go home and away in the Trevor Francis/Bob Latchford/Howard Kendall days in the 70's. Needless to say, he seems to be taking a more active interest this season!
