Bias I know but both Eagles and Mears have been outstanding for the Clarets

Bugger - I forgot about Eagles. He has been excellent. He should have had a LOT more starts than he's had. Perhaps Laws will rectify that.

Defoe's been great, but terrible away from the Lane (Hull game excepted).
Modric has been injured since the start of Sept.
I guess I should have mentioned Aaron Lennon though - what a player. He'll be sorely missed for the next month.
I like how many Liverpool fans on Sky Sports have been complaining about their injuries and how that's de-railed their season. Well Spurs have had Ledley King, Jonothan Woodgate, Luca Modric, Jermaine Jenas and Aaron Lennon (all of whom are world clasee with the exception of Jenas) out for extended periods and look where we are. LOL@Liverpool - scraping the bottom of the barrel!
