Are in the Premier league after downing Cardiff 3 - 2.

What are the odds for going straight back down?

Is Bloomfield Rd up to EPL standards JTC?

I would expect the tangerines to be pretty short odds for an immediate return. In many ways they are just like the clarets
Provincial northern club with some history that has fallen on hardtimes over the last 30 years
Not much money
Unfancied in the p/offs
Beat a much better opponent in the semis (like Reading last year)
Was the underdog in the fianl
Won't have the resources or the kudos to attact any really decent players next season
Will be relegated but financially sound for the next ten years

As for bloomfield Ed. It's a **** house and if the likes of arsenal etc were shocked at the standards of turf moor and our facilities, well all I can say is, to coin the classic BTO lyric "you ain't seen nothin yet"

Still I'll miss not going there next season. I always enjoyed the BURNLEY v Blackpool derbies, mainley because we usually won ;)

Hahaha, I recall you saying something about Blackpool's ground and facilities being shocking when I was up at Turf Moor. I reckon you also dropped the line about the Clarets always taking the points too! Bummer that they'll be up next season if that's the case!!

Their stadium is a little different by EPL standards:

Looking at their current list, I don't recognise a single name. Hopefully their heirarchy aren't silly about signings and play within their means to avoid another Pompey situation.

Hey DA that photo might be a little old now. Think the Seasiders have now built a stand closest to the Road

The FA Cup of around 53 against Bolton is legendary.

I actuallt think Blackpool were relegated from the 1st divisoin in the same year as the Clarets maybe 1970 ish.

Up the Daggers! From obscurity to League 1. Great effort.

Millwall took the biccy's too. So JTC, you'll have a trip to the Den this season. Good luck mate! (Or maybe stay home for that one!!)
