Your first kit.

To maintain the other thread on topic I thought I'd post the first strip I ever had.
Will be interesting seeing some of the other "retro" type tops that people remember as the first top they had in support of their team.

The first LFC top I ever owned was this umbro classic that LFC wore in the 1982.

I can't actually remember my 1st kit
They didn't used to sell replicas until some marketing guru came up with the idea sometime in the 80's/90's. Before then it was scarves, hats and badges
I had dozens of clarets scarves
But a girfriend did once knit me a claret and blue jumper. Trouble was it was wider than it was long and the sleeves were longer than my scarves. I still wore it in the winter though
One of my sons who is claret mad has all of his shirts going back to when he was a baby. I think he has about 30 all together
My fav shirt is the 76 replica all claret with a blue vee I wore it to the playoff's and to the wembley final. Shame it didn't bring me much luck last year though

I was given this shirt, before I had a team in England. Wore it about three times IIRC. No idea where it is now.



Never really adopted Man U as my team though, no idea why not, but when I was presented with this shirt from my wife's side of the family, I jumped on the Derby wagon.

mine was the old arsenal one when they were sponserd by dreamcast it also had the old emblem and i can stil fit in just

I have a Glasgow Rangers away shirt from about 1995 (still wear it).
I can't find a pic of it but it's red with vertical thin black stripes.

I got all of these (except the keeper ones) also my favorite era for Lazio, saldy these are the last Lazio tops i've been able to fit in. Italians dont do 5XL

My first kit was the West Hams 100 years anniversary strip which had the bubbles with 100 imprinted into it. Dagenham motors was the kit sponsor then. Ill see if i can find a copy somewhere.

The 1st shirt i ever got was the Liverpool home & away shirts from 96/97 season (the 1st season they wore Reebok)...
And only got them because i got a part time job and could afford to buy them myself...
Soccer hating parents were never going to get me any

The top i really wanted though was the top we wore against Man who in the FA Cup final in 96. (the green and white quatered top. The last season in Adidas)
