Have read a couple of similar match reports. No matter how bad a side is going you still expect them to have a crack at home. Would be heart breaking for fans to see that performance at home.

My God Father I hate this team sometimes...

we can't be bloody Cheltnam or northampton in the league (FFS), but will be able to beat (via penalties) teams that are a division ahead of us in the Johnson's paint pot trophy the following teams...

Sheffield Wednesday
Huddersfailed
Sheffield United...

Seriously, can you gentlemen please play like this in the league so we won't be sitting 89th out of 92 teams...

Arrrrrggggghhhhhhhh

;)

Great win tonight boys, considering all the crap that has been going on over the past week, to go 1-0 down and then fight back and win on penalties, awesome....

It'd be nice, though if they were in the league, where they actually counted, we'd get smashed....

Yet another home defeat, this time 2-3 against Rotherham.

As someone who has a real soft spot for this club I'm very disappointed as I think it's the end of the road for Bradford City in the football league. It's unbelievable that a club representing a city of half a million people can be performing so pathetically.

Make no mistake, if they go out they won't be coming back again.

Things have been looking up over the past 3 of 4 weeks, a win in the FA Cup 2nd round against Sheffield United... and a couple of solid draws away from home.. and last week a fantastic 1-0 win away to Southend (who were 2nd in the league).

Last night we gave Crewe a touch up at home with a solid 3-0 win...

Things are looking up...

The revival continues, 3-1 hammering of Shrewsbury... Next up Rovrum tonight away, and then Watford in the FA Cup on Saturday...

Bradford City Season 2011-2012

Postby Jase » Wed Mar 28, 2012 12:49 pm

Well, we played Crawley last night, lost 2-1 at home and then had our two central defenders and goalie red carded after the match due to a punch up... They had two sent off.

We are screwed and almost a certainty to be relegated...

Sigh :(

Mate you are going the exact opposite direction to my Railwaymen- and we needed you to beat Crawley too....

I'm hoping you and Hereford can stay up, and I also have a soft spot for the pilgrims who also look in strife. At least one of ya are gonna go :(

Another loss. 1-0 away from home in a relegation 6 pointer... Plymouth score in the 4th minute and shut up shop... Sigh...

Friday night against a promotion chasing team... That'll be another loss..

Sigh...

Bradford City Season 2011-2012

Postby Jase » Sat Apr 07, 2012 2:05 pm

Boys had a fantastic win last night against Sarfend... 2-0 at home... Played 2 up top all game and hammered the shrimpers ... 7 points clear from the relegation zone, with a massive advantage when it comes to Goal Difference, so pretty much 8 points clear with 15 to play for...

Not quite as squeaky bum time as it was 5 days ago, a point (or 3) on Monday would pretty much assure survival...

Bradford City seem to be able to lift against the stronger sides but seem to lack the same desire and competitiveness against weaker teams. City have beaten Southend, who are 5th on the table, twice this season yet the Bantams are 19th!!

They easily draw the biggest crowds in the division yet have won only 7 of 21 games at Valley Parade this season. With a big stadium and big crowds they should be doing a lot better at home.
