Seeing as though all the other big clubs have their own topic, I thought it only appropriate that the biggest club in the World^ have it's own ....

I will attempt to keep you all informed of the major arrivals and match details over the coming season, as I'm sure that you wll all be dying to hear the latest news and results from such a footballing Giant.

C'mon you mighty Bantams

(Bantams = a group of fighting c0cks, though last year the Bantams were more "Useless" than "Fighting")

;)

(^ substitute League Two for World)

2nd Preseason game tonight, versus the might of Matlock Town....

Have made some decent signings so far this year, some keen and eager kids and some solid professionals...whereas in previous years, we've gone the quick fix... Think that the Board have finally realised that there needs to be some stability and building...

Some of the signings so far...

Ritchie Jones - ex Manure youth team member...
http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/sport/sportbcfc/9138144.Bradford_City_sign_former_Manchester_United_player/

Nialle Rodney - ex Notts Forrest Youth team member...

Scotty Brown - 16 Scottish Youth International...

Some quality young players, Lets hope this year will be better than the last 10... :(

Of course he'll be sh!t, everyone who arrives at Bradford City lose 45-55% of all natural talent, skill, fitness and intelligence as soon as they walk through the door...

I don't know why I do it to myself...

True, the 13 fans that BPA have can be quite a handful... Though that being said they did win the match against the kids 3-2 :?

City lost 3-1 last night, played well, but need to strengthen the defense ...

City have also signed (about to sign) a young 'keeper from Liverpool, he played last night and very well by all accounts...

Report -

Well that's three friendly losses in a row, though all have come against teams in higher divisions. New seem to be unable to hold out teams and have conceded 10 goals in three games :( .

Report of 3-1 defeat against Carlisle...

http://www.boyfrombrazil.co.uk/2011/07/pre-season-ends-on-a-bum-note-as-jacksons-three-man-midfield-is-outgunned/

Season starts next weekend against Aldershot in the league and then Tuesday night against the next door neighbors, Leeds....

C'mon City...

Good onya Jase for posting about the Bantams. My dad's from Bradford and is a lifelong City fan and although Aston Villa's my team I've always followed City closely.

I reckon that young striker Niall Rodney could be a handy signing. He has a bit of pace.

Also hopefully they can extend the loan deal on that goalie Hansen from Liverpool. He seems to be pretty motivated to perform.

Here is an excellent run down of our first team squad ...

http://www.boyfrombrazil.co.uk/2011/08/20112012-iiiv-the-players/

Getting excited now, only two sleeps until the first match... Home game against Aldershot... Though I can see there could be much wailing and gnashing of teeth after the match ... ;)
