No offence Marty
Can't say I'm disappointed to see Cardiff fail.
Taken over by a Malaysian idiot with money who changed their strip from blue to red undoing how many years of tradition, because red as more successful
Sacked Malky Mackay who took them up for what reason? And brought in the Babyfaced Assasin who had no impact whatsoever
Serve the Redbirds right. Oh they're Welsh so shouldn't be in an English league in the first place.

Same goes for Fulham, foreign owners who bring in a foreign manager who makes no bloody difference at all and bingo, championship football

Speaking of Foreign owners etc I think Burnley might be the only premier league club with English owners and an English manager.
Just shows what you can do if you get the mix right, and we come to the EPL completely debt free and making profit. Something else is suspect no other EPL club can boast

Agree about Cardiff, was hoping the Jacks would go down aswell. No place for the Welsh sides until they abide by the same rules as everyone else.
Was speaking to a mate over there and he reckons Fulham and Cardiff are putting in a protest about Sunderland fielding a ineligible player and should have points stripped, any more on this or is just wishful thinking?
I remember West Ham were in the same boat with Tevez and the protest was dismissed

This concerns an ineligible player they used at the beginning of the season. Hammers didn't lose points it ended up paying the Blades £millions in compensation after a civil high court ruling.

Can't see the Cats get a points deduction as it would open a whole can of worms and a £30m fine won't hurt them as much now as it did then

Sunderland only gained 1 point while playing the ineligible player.

Plus there are rules in place by the FA where if the ineligibility occurs because there is an issue with an international clearance then they don't necessarily lose any points.

Looks like we're staying up. A month ago, I'd written them off.
What does this form surge from the Black Cats mean? Where was it earlier?
