Cue Cossi 8)

haha... i think the difference was how clinical liverpools finishing was and their confidence in the final 3rd. Everton had enough of the ball just couldnt get anywhere near the net. Sturridge all class...

Not an excuse but surely Barkley, Pienaar and Jagielka were not 100% fit!! Besides Barkley's early crack (SG didn't let that happen again) they were all woeful and didn;t seem up to it...

Well onto Villa, only positive we can take out of it is we have still only lost 3 EPL games all season!

Spuds go down to 10 and Shiteh go bang, bang, up 3-0 now.
Villa and West Brom 3-3 at the half

City 5 - Spurs 1.
City will win the EPL IMHO, clearly the best team.

Sunderland out of the bottom three for the first time in a while.
Now to knock off the Mags.

Yep predicted a fair while back they will win by plenty. Possible double figure points margin.
Would be surprised if they drop more than a dozen points from here

By a mile, and to think it only cost them £1.1bn
I can't see anyone getting near them for the next 5 years at least or until the Arabs get bored and find another toy to play with

I think United will get back on terms but it might be one or two seasons as they are having to do it the hard way now. They've done the bonds, they've floated on the stock market so in reality their only option left now is top hope some other flash Harry comes along and buys up a majority share holding and pumps a billion in like at City.

In the meantime United are a moneymaking machine that generates enough to keep them afloat and dabble in the transfer market. Their problem is that Ferguson had a conveyor belt in place, needing to replace only one or two a year, and sell on enough to finance the conveyor, but eventually that system is going to need a much bigger injection.

Personally I think Ferguson could see what was coming and got out in time, being remembered as a winner. Poor old Moysey is left with a major rebuild.

My tip for the next two or three years is City, Chelsea, and then Liverpool, United and Arsenal battling it out for 2 places. When United get back on track I could see it City, then United and Chelsea in a two way tussle for 2nd and 3rd with the Gunners and Liverpool fighting for the last place.

Agree that Shiteh should dominate for years, reckon it will take United 2-3 years to back near the top. The current strip deal ends next year and United are negotiating with Nike for £75m/year and the new Chevrolet sponsorship starts next season which is worth £350m over 5 years. Glazer is no mug and he is finally realising that no CL will cost the club £200-400m per season and its cheaper for him to plough in £200m a year on transfers. I think you will find United will start spending big soon but have to start pensioning off the old boys in the side first. Cant have loyalty, Giggs, Rio and Vidic have all been great but now its time to hang them up or head elsewhere.
Liverpool are stuck financially because of their tinpot stadium and Arsenal have to coin to match United but a manager tighter than a fish's arse

Arsenal will pay off their stadium well ahead of the term of the loan and thereafter should have much more financial clout IMHO, so they will always be around the mark I reckon. What they have done/are doing should be a great example to my club, but alas, there seems to be little news on that front. :(

Agreed, but they don't have City or Chelsea's £billions, and they don't generate anywhere near the same level of income as United, so whilst they will always be around the mark, I can't see them getting close enough.

Having said that, winning the league means sod all these days, it's getting in the CL that matters.

As for your mob, lose Suarez and you're ******, back to mid-table mediocrity

We'll lose Suarez but should cop a pretty decent pay day for it, so the opportunity is there (big IF this one) if the club can use that money wisely, to stay a challenger for the top 4. [-o<

At the start of the Newcastle v Sunderland game they were showing shots of the crowd and there was a dude with a Gold sparkly jacket of the same ilk as Joffa's from Collingwood.

It had the Newcastle star on the front and on the breast had a massive Collingwood badge...

Bizarre...

Edit, here's the dude...

Enough is enough, the fans need to riot and get rid of this muppet.
The death threats he is getting dont seem to be working.
Pathetic, disgraceful tactics just show how inept this clown is
